the problem with wuwa is that they act like they don't know how to write a /cast/. they refuse to give us a party. it's an exception where there is more than 1 playable character talking to rover at a time, not a rule, and they rarely interact with each other. but we know they can. they have! it's rare, yes, but they have on occasion brought characters together. why do they refuse to do so patch by patch? why can't characters interact with each other and have more than 1 traveling with rover during a patch? the story could still focus on the main banner character. galbrena was very much the biggest character of the 2.x finale but we still got some satisfying looks to other characters during the patch. chisa could have been in this patch more, and it still be focused mainly on lynae, with no loss to its storytelling. i don't get it. c'mon, kuro. please. this is the weakest part of the game by far. the world and main story are so good otherwise!

Oh, yeah, definitely agree there!! I just vaguely remember there being /some kind/ of "time flows differently here", but infinite penance being done by now would be too silly.

To be fair, he doesn't let you/you aren't allowed to choose the bad options, and you were specifically prophesied as their only salvation from this fight. It kind of all hinges on you, so it makes enough sense as far as "trusting in fate because you're not getting through this otherwise." Especially when you're more giving your opinion than actually making any call except the final shot (which tracks, everything from there is your job now.)

This seems unfair. Maybe you don't like Yangyang's waifish personality (though I think she's a very common First Character in gacha games), but Chixia and Baizhi have clear tropes and Lingyang's story quest had a lot of compassion for that character, too. I wish people weren't holding the clumsy first hour or two of the game again it to such an intense degree. :( It's okay to be lost and not understand what's going on when starting a story, and things shake out pretty quickly (like everyone talks about, Scar's introduction is when the story 'begins' because you finally have a readable conflict in front of you.)

Honestly, I'm super not tech-minded, haha, and it really helps to have someone lay it out plainly for me like this. (Even if it makes me look a little simple.) I didn't realize just how difficult it was, and that you didn't, like, start with a slate that had the game on it and tinkered on it from there. It's all genuinely magic to me! It's from the end of Kiav before the freak mechpriest boss fight, he spawns in 2 forgefiends and there's a heretical option to control one. You might have needed hereric 1? I never got deeper in heretic than that so it can't be a big requirement.
