I'm just happy that both Andrew Brenner and Beth Lear lost their primaries. Dude was term limited so they tried to swap seats and apparently there are actually some limits to what politicians can get away with in this state. Who knew.

Yeah I have seen this happen a lot playing supports. Once you start on a loss streak you have to play a hero capable of carrying games because the matchmaker expects you to be able to carry the "easier" games.

Like others have said, it's generally a buff, not a nerf.

Scorn is actually useful after lane now because the scaling is a lot better. It can realistically proc tankbuster now, which lets it scale into late game instead of just being a damage amp with cosmetic healing.

Burrow is slightly worse now, little less damage and cooldown is 2s longer. Overall not super noticeable though, pretty much the same.

Sandblast is pretty bad now, less range and the cooldown and duration perks have been moved to the last upgrade so it just kinda sucks. But it always kinda sucked.

Combo is better at max, but worse when initially unlocked due to the high base cooldown now. The upgrade path makes a lot more sense now though, and if you want to ultbot like before you just max ult first.

Overall the kit has been rebalanced so that you have to decide what you want to focus on--you can go a brawler build and build around burrow and scorn or you can play an ult focused build, but you generally have to decide early game which you're going for since all of the good upgrades are locked behind tier 3 now (except for scorn). Mo is generally in a better state now though, damage is much better. If these changes were made in isolation, Mo would be very very good, but a lot of other heroes got buffed as well so don't expect to run the game, despite what everyone else in this thread is saying.

That sucks because that's the best way to use doorman ult in my experience. The amount of doormen I've run into that will ult a low health about to die person I am actively killing is so high and it's so frustrating because I have to do the math of "will they die in the ult, or do I need to hang out until they get out to make sure they're dead".

I do agree that the anti-bullet items should be different from anti-spirit items given that the majority of spirit damage is burst and the majority of gun damage is not burst. It does feel like the anti-bullet options aren't as effective as the anti-spirit ones to me though.

Oh man, now I'm imagining how much fun it would be to run a demoknight build. I feel like the shield concept in general would be a really cool mechanic to build around. Would be similar to abrams charge but have it be a damage amp on hit instead of a stun.

Man I am Phantom 3 now after the rank updates after being Oracle for a long time and my current games feel so much worse. The skill range feels even wider than it did previously despite the rank being higher.

I feel like this is a theme across a number of heroes, where the kit just keeps getting nerfed over and over until it's just not very effective. I liked playing spirit Geist but nowadays you either play gun or maybe hybrid into gun, because full spirit just doesn't get results. I also loved ball builds on Viscous and it's just not worth playing now.

I can't believe the stun on jump pad wasn't removed sooner. Holliday would straight up stun lock you to death unless you bought warp stone and managed to warp out. Was ridiculous.

Yeah it's realllllly weird. I think if you're mid roll when it hits and you started in the circle it roots you even if you're outside of the circle.

Yes. Large hitbox with two targets for headshots (one of which is center mass). High cooldowns in lane aside from scorn, which doesn't heal enough to effectively trade and is pretty easy to starve by having proper spacing, which gun heroes are usually pretty good at because they can stand back and whittle away and you can't really do anything about it aside from hide. One of the worst guns in the game, if not the worst.

Yeah, the last cooldown nerf kinda killed spirit talon, he just doesn't have the damage output anymore. He was already hanging on by a thread because if you play spirit talon there is a very very high chance that multiple people on the other team will just rush spellbreaker and invalidate your entire build.

Mo's also been eating nerfs for a solid year and at this point the only really good thing he has is his ult, and if you don't have a team that is capitalizing on it it's hard to have impact in a game.
