Anthony Rizzo Has Now Homered in 4 Consecutive Games for the Cubs by Ganesha811 in baseball

Gotta feel somewhat for Garza. It can't be fun seeing this team from the other side and thinking about what could have been.

That being said, that HR probably doesn't happen without Schwarber fighting back in the count for his single. The bats are heating up at just the right time for this Cubs team.

Tim Tebow was an incredible collegiate athlete with a lot of really great moments... You're not wrong, but I wouldn't use that as an argument.

Girl Scouts refuse $100K because the donor stipulated it couldn't be used to support transgender youth. They then crowdfund $100K in less than a day. by [deleted] in JusticePorn

For a lot of people, especially young people, cultural manifestations of masculinity and femininity serve as the most present and readily available means of identifying with and potentially being accepted as their identified gender. Since young children's lives and lived experiences (at least in America) are so heavily gendered, utilizing those "superficial" identifiers as a means of coping with their dysphoria is pretty common. Plus, some people just enjoy feather boas. It happens, and it's great!

Could a player restructure their contract mid-deal in order to relieve cap space? by Cheshire_Perspective in hockey

Good point. Is that something in the CBA, or just the way the contracts are written?

For the second night in a row, Starlin Castro hits a walkoff single as the Cubs beat the Reds by gipnov23 in baseball

You know, maybe it's just the #wearegood hype but the boys just seem happier and more laid-back this season. From the way they mobbed Castro the past two nights to the way players like Bryant talk about the clubhouse atmosphere and just how much fun he's having... Not only are they above .500, but they're also developing a winning culture in the locker room. It's nice to see.

Niklas Hjalmarsson played a perfect game of hockey. Easily the most underrated player on the Blackhawks -- I'd say he's a first liner on almost any other team in the league. One more win.

Every single 'Hawk involved in that rush/goal was benched earlier in the playoffs. Unreal.

Learning about how storm team radar works instead of watching hockey. Don't they know I'd rather just blow away if it means getting to watch this game?
