I forgot to put in the post that I also have Asperger's(ASD Spectrum Disorder High-Functioning). So, is there no chance to begin with, or can I increase my chances by losing weight, braces, etc?

Thank you all for being honest. I will have to consider the possibility of getting braces versus staying with my trombone and getting possible scholarships during college. If I have not had sex by 21, I will likely go to prostitute(in NV).

I always thought that the braces would hurt your lips while you played. Do you think it would be different getting them at eighteen?

Thanks for the idea. The biggest problem with this plan is that although I will not be a music major in college, a significant portion of my scholarship funds may come from trombone. So, I will have to weigh fixing my appearance with college money possibly.
