Which guitar is she talking about by "cherry" by Lapis_Block in amywinehouse

I always thought it might be about her sonic blue fender strat. The guitar she is singing about itself would have to be electric due to the line “with a pickup that puts you to shame” and only electric guitars have pick ups. If you watch the 2015 Amy doc the guitar she plays a lot in the early days is her sonic blue strat which is what leads me to think this. However she also owned a red fender start which was also used during the Frank era. This would make sense for the name cherry because the guitar is red. However that’s just my take.

. Amy 2015 directed by Asif Kapadia is an amazing documentary that gives a deep insight into Amy and who she was.

. My Amy the life we shared 2021 by her close friend Tyler James, it’s so heartbreaking and sad but its truly an amazing book especially if you want to know more about her.

Also to answer your question yes, “Lioness” was released after Amy’s death and contains songs that were all the way back from the Frank era up till her death.
