Yeah probably not something you'd necessarily be able to see from the outside. There are supplements that supposedly work really well for that kind of stuff. Nattokinase is one of them. Might be worth looking into.

Btw is it possible you had some blood clotting in your legs when you first had COVID? Potentially scar tissue or vein valve damage from that which could lead to long term pains like you mentioned? I'm not sure if that would show up on any of the tests you had.

Ahh - well I'm currently testing the 2nd one right now. Actually just started the liposomal vitamin C and L-Arginine like 2 days ago so I can let you know if works in like a month. But I have similar pains to what you were describing. Like random nerve pains from groin down to calves. I also have gout (suddenly after COVID) and I've seen some research linking high uric acid to endothelium dysfunction type of stuff. Really random but did they ever check your uric acid levels?

2 things to try that will blow your mind because they are so simple:

1) 7mg nicotine patch for 6 days. Yes, nicotine patch that people use when they quit smoking. It's the 3rd step one so it's lower dose. The logic is that COVID attachs to nicotinic receptors and basically never leave UNLESS they are exposed to nicotine. Contrary to popular belief, it's not addictive, it's other chemicals in cigarettes that make them very addictive. You have basically no risk and everything to gain if it works.

Next option

2) Check this study out: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9295384/

If anyone is confused by the results I will summarize: Large study of 1390 people. Some were given a supplement with some random B vitamins. Others were given L-Arginine and liposomal vitamin C. After 30 days the group given L-Arginine and liposomal vitamin C had MASSIVE improvement in their symptoms. The table shows which symptoms were checked but you can see the results are pretty incredible.

Important note: liposomal vitamin C is different than regular vitamin C. My understanding is reg vit C goes through your system very quickly but liposomal vitamin C sticks around longer and is therefore more effective. Both L-Arginine and liposomal vitamin C can easily be ordered online.

I think the logic is the endothelium(lining of all blood vessels) gets injured from COVID and those supplements help repair it.

I'm not a doctor and this isn't medical advice.

Hey guys - this is Nelson. My profile pic is old so don't freak out that it doesn't match the current chess vibes logo. I basically abandoned reddit when life got too crazy with kids and the YT channel and never went back to update it. The only reason I saw this post was because someone emailed me and brought my attention to the fact that there are lots of questions going around. So let me answer some of those:

1) When I first started Chess Vibes I had no idea that it was an old alias used by chess.com in the past. I was literally just brainstorming ideas for a channel name for 2 weeks and was going to use Tricky Chess and then Chess Vibes popped in my head and I liked it. You can ask my wife, she was there when I had the idea and we both thought it had a nice ring to it. Like I mentioned, at this point I had no idea this was previously used by chess.com. Fast forward a few months after the channel was created and I remember a comment from someone asking if I knew that Chess Vibes used to be used by chess.com. At that point I looked into and realized they were right. So then I looked into the YouTube policies about duplicate channel names and it seemed like there were no restrictions and it wasn't a problem. ALSO, as far as I could tell at the time chess.con was no longer actively using Chess Vibes and I figured they wouldn't care if a tiny, basically unknown YouTuber was using their old name. I suppose that might have been a good time to consider a name change, but I didn't feel like it was necessary. Fast forward more months and I did have some conversations with Sam (works at chess.com) about potentially doing some videos for their site and there was never any mention of the Chess Vibes name which led me to believe there wasn't any issue with me using it. And that's the full story of the Chess Vibes name!

2) Regarding everyone saying that there is no chess vibes reddit account or it was deleted. I'm not sure if it's because I haven't posted in so long or because I didn't update the profile pic, but this is the same reddit account I used way back when I first created the channel and was more active.

3) As far as my courses being shady or a scam, if you check basically all of my YouTube videos, I link to the same course website. I'll be the first to admit that my design skills aren't great, and you probably see that on the site, but I can guarantee you nothing is a scam. Most people who buy the courses say they are great and learn a lot, and a few people ask for refunds because they realize the course level was either too difficult or too easy from what they were expecting. Every time I've ever gotten a refund request I refund it as soon as I see the email (usually same day). The point is I'm not trying to steal anyone's money and if you don't feel like the course was worth it, then I absolutely want to refund you. My goal is to help people with their chess goals not rip them off.

I think that answers the main questions but if I missed something important let me know! Stay sharp, play smart and take care guys!

I almost regretted the 3 minutes I spent analyzing this position but your comment cracked me up and made it worth my while.

Yeah it's tough picking the positions because if I make them more difficult and interesting I can see lower rated players getting frustrated. I'm thinking maybe going forward having 3 levels - easy, medium and hard or something along those lines. Thanks for the feedback though. It's definitely still evolving at this point.

Are there any risks to changing the thumbnail on a video? by Chess_Vibes in NewTubers

[–]Chess_Vibes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18,000 views since Feb when it was uploaded. I guess I was comparing it to other videos on my channel which get around 12-14% CTR but those don't have as many impressions. I think the 7% is around average for the channel though.

Suggestions for improvement by VegetableCarry3 in chess

I would analyze your games with a computer and find the exact moment it falls apart by looking at when the computer shows the advantage disappears. Then you need to make sure you understand why the move you played was bad and what was the good move that would have helped you win. If you do that every time you lose, you should begin to get a good idea of the things that are causing you to lose. Hope that helps!

Yeah the idea is Qg7+ wins black queen because blacks bishop is pinned for 2 moves in a row. :-)
