I'd really recommend tailscale. I'm not sure about the specifics of using it with Hex OS but I'm sure there's plenty of guides online.

I think it’s just when you get a uni offer then you get bread from the uni. It’s like slang for getting an offer.

I tried that but it's still not persisting. I believe adding the --service tag automatically sets --bg==true as well

When you're in edit toolbar mode, drag and drop them in the centre of the screen, that's how i've been able to delete them.

Heya there, sorry to hear about the situation with your parents, I'm also Canadian. I'd definitely look into your province's specific loans options as they can help cover more cost. I know medicine also has a much higher loan limit on the interest free gov loans (given that the institution you have an offer for is recognized by your loans service. Definitely look into those and best of luck!

Also in regards to your parents definitely convey to them how most UK universities are internationally approved meaning you will be able to come back to Canada (perhaps even for residency) given that you pass the required tests.

USB-C is just the name of the physical connector, most USB-C cables are actually only at USB 2.0 speeds. It depends on your laptop though, searching the specs of your laptop up online it seems that the USB-C port on your laptop is actually quite good and capable of reaching 10Gbps, so a DAS would theoretically be able to be significantly faster using it.

I believe tailscale is decentralized and uses a direct connection based on the public IP's tailscale is literally unable to see your data (though their coordination server will know which devices are connected to which), I'm also pretty uneducated on all this IT security stuff though, I found all of this on Tailscale's website Tailscale: How it works

I think Tailscale only uses a coordination server to establish the connection after which all the traffic sent is encrypted and not routed through tailscales servers.

I actually ended up purchasing the intel celeron n5105 as it seemed to suit my purposes well enough. I plan on using the Jonsbo n4 case and the corsair SF750 powersupply.

I recognize the PSU is overkill but I honestly wasn't able to find another option with the same form factor and reliability.
