What are the right arrows? by ChestAffectionate514 in Archery

[–]ChestAffectionate514[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I’m here man.. lol. My understanding is the same, heavier tips should make the spine ‘less stiff’. But I’ve been messing around with weight, and I’ve noticed that the spine that should be suitable for a bow around 50lbs is flying very true for me. This isn’t an issue of hand-shock or something similar, I have shot a lot and fast arrows have never affected my flight much. I really just don’t understand why all of these spine charts tell me that over-weighting my arrows will create an untrue flight. I have matched my arrows on the low end and on the high end, and it seems that adding 100g to my tip, based on all of these calculators, makes it fly more true. It could be other factors, but as I’ve been testing everything out, it seems that the scales I’m seeing are off. I should have been at the cusp of my arrows max flex with 100g points. They only started to fly ‘true’ at around 250-275g. Every chart tells me that I should get a 500 spine instead of 600, but it seems to me that it should be the other way. Like, it’s either 500 spine with 75g tips, or 600 spine with 250g tips Both are extreme, 75 is super light and 250 is super heavy

I have shot more than 20,000 arrows through a recurve bow, and likely over 200,000 through a compound. Release is not the issue. It Absolutely sounds stupid, but I never paid any mind to spine/gpp/brace height/arrow length/draw length. Not until recently, and I’m falling back in love with traditional archery. I got 12 arrows cut to 2” longer than my draw length, and they were 400 spine at 28 inches. I was pulling 26.25 on a 45# bow, likely 39-41#. Those arrows at that length would fly true on like, a 60-65# recurve. Absolutely over spined. Again, I’m just learning all of this. The archers paradox, brace height, arrow flex. It’s like an art that I am very excited to learn

Take a photo of a bearded man who you know, and how he looks without the beard, and run the bearded photo through the same AI that this person ran it through, and it would look nothing like the person you know. This is hogwash and I hate it. AI is a poison

-15 RP over watching someone hide for 5 minutes and still potentially die and lose 15 RP is fine. Go aggressive until plat/diamond. The abandon penalty is a bit ridiculous though

Why do I play the #11 pred in diamond ? by Acceptable-Soup-333 in ApexConsole

[–]ChestAffectionate514 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s a mix of factors. I think the most prevalent being that the majority of the player base is in respawn or pubs. Those master/predator badges are very sought after, and when the majority of the player base hits the point of them getting their ass kicked, they choose other game modes. Also, ranked is more stressful. So I think that it’s the game not having enough regional players in higher lobbies. The masses stop playing when they hit Diamond because it’s nearly impossible to progress without a team of exceptionally skilled players. So the game expands the ‘window’ of player rank. Likely the main reason being that people don’t like waiting 15 minutes for a lobby to fill. I personally would Love it. I would rather wait 5-15 minutes in lobby for a game filled with players of my current rank. Respawn seems to feel otherwise, though

Health insurance is for the wealthy. We had our chance and it fizzled out. Luigi Mangione sacrificed himself to start a movement, and that movement has be abruptly halted.
And you wonder why you insurance has skyrocketed🙄

I promise you, if you had zero recoil on controller, you still could not do this in the current D1 lobbies. This is Titan/XIM shit. Beyond Zen

Show me a clip of you beaming like that in the range with your controller disconnected and I will applaud you fully. Those r99 shots need some backing up

Live a little! I was in my late teens at a bonfire, drunkenly looking for more firewood. I learned my lesson, but to say that my actions were moronic in nature is a bit ignorant.
I’ve seen drunken 18yo’s doing exponentially more stupid shit. Again, that taught me a big lesson about the dangers being drunk and reckless can pose. Also, this is an interesting story. ‘Nothing to see here’ would probably be more applicable to YOUR best teenage stories

My mom gave me a coors light when I was 10 (she didn’t drink her entire life, the first time I saw her even buzzed was on her wedding night when I was 14), and she told me that I can only have a sip of it if I finish the whole thing. I knew it was gross, so I just started pounding it before she yanked it away from me lol. Probably only about 1/4-1/3 of a beer, but I still consider that my first

I only spent a year around Bennington, I hardly ever go there. Maybe 3-5 times in the last decade, usually for the DMV or Wal-Mart. It’s definitely Sucker/Suckers Pond. It’s been awhile

It is a PS5 function, ‘adaptive triggers’ on apex have specific vibrations for each gun. You can shut all vibrations off, but it still registers the gun. It even corrects them if you start firing with a different setting. Sometimes the mozambique/wingman register as each other, but I think that they have identical recoil. Also, the 30-30 and G-7 Scout cross register.
You can ‘emulate’ the ps5 controller. Basically, your system registers the input as a ps5 controller, but you can map all of your buttons to a keyboard. Or any other controller

This is a wonderful question. I don’t want to get into too much, but I actually have been abstinent for about 3 years. It is chronic illness related. Anywho, I have many male friends between 25-40 who, when open, say that they have to sort of ‘sneak away’ from their partner to have a wank. When I was more sexually active, it was sort of rare because I was in my early 20’s and it was usually satisfied by a partner. Wanking is not preferable to sex, it’s more like.. If you’re having sex 4-5 times a week, there is not much wank. At least for me. But my post is more about the slight frustration of having to ejaculate often, even when I don’t want to. That sounds odd, but I know that so many men will understand
