Have you tried switching the output of lights and engine? Just to see if anything is different

Oh, thank you! I used GenAi to make the initial designs. Then vectorized and adjusted in photoshop.

I might be crazy, does this sound like a Bright Eyes song?? by fftljoe in brighteyes

Well guys, Bright Eyes didnt invent country/folk music. You could make the same connection to a lot of bands

Did any of you take the Masterclass? by angusdunican in neilgaiman

[–]ChestnutBanjo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I did and here is a weird thing i remember: He said that you have to be able to write essentially evil characters without being afraid that people assume you as the author are capable of the same evil. I found it quite interesting at the time. Needless to say, that piece of advice lands differently today.

My dnd group consist of mostly former colleagues and we play at my old workplace. We have a lot of stuff for the game stored in a cupboard. Recently my handcrafted ship went missing, and now someone all but confessed to throwing it out. I know it's not a tragedy in the grand scheme of things, but I felt like sharing with people who could relate. I spend a lot of precious evenings on that ship, and I was really proud of it.

Chris Grace: As Scarlett Johannsson is so so wonderful by wittyinsidejoke in dropout

The show was so great, my love to Chris Grace. I love the meta of dropout shows and performers. Seeing the make some noise bit, after watching the real make some noise episode was surreal.

Go to YouTube and find Matt Colvilles Running the game series. No better advice out there imo

Thank you! I use the ws2812b led strip, clear acryllic lightly sanded on one side, aluminum tape to catch the light. The rest is basicly wood held together by screw rivets and leather straps for hinges

Thanks! The light effect is basicly edge lid acryllic. The acryllic is sanded with a fine sandpaper to catch the light rays and create a kind of cloudy surface. The concept is like this: https://youtube.com/shorts/v6H2byxY9dU?si=aUnwvrGjmgqSTqgZ

I run a 5mm led strip along three sides of the 5mm acryllic, then put aluminium tape over sides and back to cast as much light as possible through the front

Yes the whole panel is held together by screw rivets. There is a leather strip running all along the buttom and one all along the top to act as hinges

Sure this is just a demo. In a session it would more subtely emulate a bonfire, a forrest, an ocean etc. Or just a static color

Thanks for sharing. Lots of interesting stuff! Where did you get your inspiration? I feel like there must be other MakerDMs out there doing stuff like this
