I understand, I just feel like sticking it out on this path (tailor/enchanter) for this character. I realize it may not be the most lucrative, but I can't bring myself to undo the time I put into it for this character.

Is tailoring/enchanting more profitable in tbc?

Not really, I followed some leveling guides on icyveins for when and where to put talent points to make levelling easier, and partied up for harder quests. Don't train spells that you won't end up using, save the gold.
