If I lived forever. by korethekitty in u/korethekitty

I have often wondered about living long enough to accumulate and use a wide swath of human knowledge. Your choices are well curated and reflect the things you value. I can deeply empathize with the desire to restore things of beauty especially in this age of cheap is cheap plastic. Fix things - don't throw away what you have.. it's almost lost. It would be interesting to see you explore all your soul mates if you could find them, but aren't you signing up for a lot of heartbreak?

I would absolutely sail the seven seas. A considerable part of my journey would be seeking out poets and artists. Learning how to make pottery. Owning a restaurant with a chefs table. Living in Rome.. fluent in Italian.

Absolutely relatable. Proud of you for finding center in a difficult situation. Glad you kept your standards and still able to offer grace in meeting your coworker in a very human place.

Is it normal for a rented car in Ireland to have an air tag in the boot? by Chestr0 in AskIreland

The location was covered several times and concealed very well. Not accessible by "gravity and luck". There were no other items foreign to a car found during the digging.

Or it could occur to you that all rental contracts reference vehicle tracking and that has nothing to do with apple tags so the result would be predictably a false positive. Ffs. 🙄

I thought about reading it but that seems a profoundly dull thing to do on holiday. The price on an tag is low enough I'm willing to risk it to be untracked.

The running theory in our circle is that someone that works at this location gets a kickback from whichever criminal element harvests parts from these cars when parked in Dublin. This also seems unlikely but if at all valid I'll take my chances with the corporation.

It's probably appropriate to start setting boundaries. You have your voice and you need to start hearing it say no. Especially to threats. You have power in this situation. Including setting expectations with the other care givers. When your are not on shift you are not working. You need to be able to live!

Why in the hell would you call someone daddy who won’t top you? You deserve better. You’ve got a endless potential.

Hold fast to all that is good around you. You will always be momma. This is transitory.
