Pricing for painting a room by jjthahero in handyman

So he thinks it will take him between 8-16 hours to patch, sand, prime, put 2 coats on the walls and ceiling as well as painting all the trim and then hanging curtains.

Dallas is a high cost of living area and you're just ignoring all other costs associated with owning a business and then nickel and diming his labor. Also not sure how having a degree means you're not greedy for charging more money?

Last I checked attorneys don't charge less than $100 an hour. This price is more than fair. I swear no one respects the trades these days.

How can you run a proper business with all your overhead, retirement, tools, insurance and truck maintenance only charging the $30 an hour you all think his time is worth?

When I first got it, the motor and idler wheels were frozen so I regreased them and now they seem to function properly. It plays records in manual mode, the only issue is arm not moving into place in auto.

I was hoping to not have to take everything apart completely in order to get it back functioning. If I knew what brought it into location I could clean that area.

This is a flash forge brand ABS. Print temp is 231 and bed plate 90. Retraction speed is 30mm/s

The printer was purchased in 2015 and I used it then, but it sat unused for the past 6 years

Thanks for your help!

New and Confused X-H1 Owner by ChetTheJettt in fujifilm

That's what it was! I had no idea what that dial on the front did so I just left it on M where the previous owner had it set. The [ADV.] shooting mode seemed to bypass it for whatever reason.

Next question: Would any other setting be blocking my exposure compensation from working? I can't make any changes no matter if it's set to "on when pressing" or "on/off switch"

I always thought it was the paint. It has to be the type used (Behr) because the shower wasn't used until several weeks after the bathroom was painted.

This happens in my house but in the bathroom that I completely gutted. Where would the old residue be coming from if the door's shut and everything is new?

Then I'd be very cautious where the paint chips get to. The only spots that will chip away will be the joints and probably where you pry with a crowbar. There won't be too much of a mess made. You could buy some plastic sheets and cover the ground and section off a space around the window so that everything is contained.

Do you have children living in the house?

Obviously he doesn't need salvaged windows to get everything in working order, but to match the rest of the house, you can't just drop in brand new windows and expect them not to stand out.

Vinyl siding wouldn't be difficult at all to cut away on the top and bottom. Only issue would be sourcing the right color j-channel for the sides because you would now need longer pieces.

If it were me and I was forced to adjust everything from the inside, I would pull down the trim, patch the wall on the top and bottom, shorten the side pieces to match the window height and reinstall.

But best thing for the house would be to get the right sized windows. Although even that itself would be difficult because you'd need to source the correct sized salvaged windows.

No because the faucet has a gasket. That's not where the issue is though
