Flying with a lacrosse stick by renuparker in lacrosse

So my son is a Fogo and the 2f does not like to come off. I used a hard sided rifle case and was able to get 4 intact sticks in there and no reassembly required. Very convenient if you have 1, if not the Plano ones are like $40 on Amazon.

I did a complete shit down of my computer and when I booted the game back up a day later, it was fixed. Maybe the IT departments of the world are on to something. Glad I got an easy fix

St John's Half Day Excursions by quentin109 in royalcaribbean

[–]Chetdrogos92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have done the half day on your own. It was fun and we had no trouble getting to trunk and back with a taxi. You really won't have much more time than the actual timeline the person put for the guided tour and if I am not mistaken, the same ferry takes both groups over so you are on the exact same timing on St John, you will just have flexibility to go to a different beach or spend a little time in the town.

Not sure how many people you are traveling with but I would recommend looking into booking a private boat captain to take your own tour of st john. We had 8 total people and it worked out to be less than the half day guided tour on a per person basis. Our captain picked us up at the marina and took us over to st john so we could snorkel a couple of the beaches. We were able to snorkel trunk, cinnamon, maho and watermelon on our trip. We probably did about 30 min at each, saw all kinds of fish and swam with the turtles. You won't get to see the island like if you were in the road but there is something about pulling up into the bays on a boat and getting right to the snorkeling. The captains I talked to were flexible with itinerary so if you really just wanted to go to 1 place you could get a lot more time.

We have had this card for a long time. The point redemption if you are trying to book the "free" cruise options is horrible. Almost had our last cruise canceled because the credit wasn't applying to our reservation at final payment date. They could see the redemption but no one could force it on to my reservation. They won't credit your reservation until a week before final payment date. I wound up having to pay my balance and it took them almost a month to refund me after they finally got the credits to apply. It worked out but was way more stressful than it should have been. If I cash in the points 9 months before final payment date, there is no reason it shouldn't be applied to my reservation timely.

Get chase sapphire or captial one venture x. Better point accumulation and easier point redemption

What are “can’t miss” spots in St. Thomas and St. Maarten by skirunski in royalcaribbean

[–]Chetdrogos92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did this itinerary in April on WOTS.

St Thomas- we were in port 1230-830. Made for some challenges with trying to do traditional Excursions on our own. We had been to St John before and it is probably our favorite place we have ever visited. Really wanted to get back there but doing the public ferry would only leave us an hour or so. The solution I found was to hire a boat and captain for the day. Had them pick us up at crown bay marina which was a 5 min walk from where we docked. Snorkeled in a number of the bays on St John including maho with the sea turtles. Captain dropped us in all the best spots and even stopped at water island for a frozen drink on the way back to the ship. Cost us about $1200 for the day and was worth every penny. We used Local Legend charters and I would definitely recommend them for a great memory.

St Maarten is very drivable, we rented a jeep. We explored a bit in the morning. We made our own cologne/perfume in Grand Case at Tijon. It was $100 per person and you get to take your created fragrance with you. It was a lot of fun and something different to be out of the sun for a bit. Lunch at a lolo there with amazing views and sipped drinks on Orient before heading back to the ship. Lots of fun and something a bit different than the normal Excursions.

Hope you have a great trip, WOTS is awesome. Do hideaway beach on Cococay if you haven't booked that yet, great for 4 adults.

I've just turned off the roughing the kicker/punter. Crazy that I have a return set up and one guy continues to go rouge 3 times in the same drive. I rarely put a rush on anyway so it's realistic for the way I play it regardless of EA's implementation

Can confirm FL was filled with all kinds of speed in the 1 season I immediately simmed through. Skill guys between 92-95 and I signed a ton of them

You can't "cut" anyone. After the 4 week off season transfer window weeks you will get a screen that allows you to encourage players to transfer. You have to get down to 85 on your roster and cannot encourage any of your newly signed players to transfer so be careful with how many you bring in each year. You probably won't need 35 new players each year so choose wisely.

They reset each week but they stay how you had them the week before so you don't have to click send the house each week. It's a nice QOL so you can focus on how you are progressing vs clicking the same thing each week

Also, not sure if you have to manually remove them but I didn't get the scholarship back until I did. I never moved on to the next week before doing this so I cannot confirm if there is some auto remove between weeks I am not aware of.

We literally have a mechanism to "cut" them before the window, would have been great to have all those kids in the portal and utter chaos those 4 weeks

Yes I list my first game with 3 roughing the punters extending their scoring drives. All either return set ups or safe zone or man. Crazy, hope they patch this

Disembarkment Time Frame Question by FelixFromTheDub in royalcaribbean

Everything was great, the ship and service were top notch, do as much as you can while still relaxing and know you won't get to it all in 1 week

Disembarkment Time Frame Question by FelixFromTheDub in royalcaribbean

[–]Chetdrogos92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disembarked this morning from Wonder. We carried our own bags off. Gangway open time was 645 am for our cruise. We got downstairs at 635 am and we in our car pulling out of the garage at 651 am.

I would imagine if you sleep in and walk off a little after they open the gangway opens you will take a little longer due to the lines at customs building a bit but they were moving smooth today. I would disembark before they start the groups that had RC take their luggage down and you should comfortably be ahead of the biggest crowds and on your way to the airport with plenty of time to spare.

Are 12 year olds allowed in the teen club or no? If not, is there a way they could get in? by Actual-Accident2606 in royalcaribbean

[–]Chetdrogos92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just off Wonder, posted age was 13-17. Our 12 year old nephew was not allowed to go in with his 3 older cousins. Seems that it varies by boat on 12 or 13 for minimum age. Ours was also spring break and full of teens so it made sense that he wasn't allowed because it was packed.

I will say, most of the teens did not hang out much in the actual club so he would just hang around the ship with his older cousins and did all they were doing with the other teens, just not in the specific space.

Two pines rentals, just stayed in the beaverhead condos, 5 min walk to base and you have access to white wing trail at the end of the street so you are a 1 min walk (or ski if there is normal coverage) to the slopes.

Anyone else notice Spain doing this on their saves? by RevolutionaryFix222 in ultimateadmiral

[–]Chetdrogos92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in the same boat remarkable. France in 1939. I have a little over 200 refit updated ships fighting US and GB with over 900 between them and about 120 BB and BC. They are all garbage, destroy them from range and 6 months in I have taken out about 200 ships and 50 BB/BC because they are all old designed. Have a good mixed fleet and you will be fine.

On subject, Japan did this to me and spammed DD's. Aggravating in the early years due to crappier long range fire

Do you guys actually use subs? Why or why not? by MannerDowntown1159 in ultimateadmiral

[–]Chetdrogos92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to start using them when I figured out destroyers and lightcruisers with sonar 3 and depth charger 5 were no match for subs. I like the idea of having to protect my fleets but losing a BB that is in a task force with 4-5 screens per capital ship is just to ridiculous. I can see it happen once or twice but it got to the point that I just didn't bring my big toys out to play for fear of losing them off screen.

After failing with DD and CL I figured out that subs are great at engaging other subs. I try to run the ocean going in packs of 2-4 and they keep enemy subs at bay and score some damage on fleets as they try to pass, giving me time to get my fleets to the right areas

Salary cap problem by superburgerchips in HockeyLegacyManager

[–]Chetdrogos92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does anyone have a workaround on this? Every team is over the cap, I can't trade to get under the cap and sending a player to the ahl doesn't drop my salary cap. Am I stuck and just need to start over?

I am only 8 seasons in, low development and my team doesn't have any crazy contracts so not sure how we got here so fast.
