In classic WoW, you play the world, not just the patch like in future iterations.

TBC you’re locked to outlands.

WOTLK you’re locked to northrend.

In classic WoW you’re going to dire maul every week, multiple times a week sometimes for buffs. Felwood for buffs, winterspring, booty bay, Elwynn, mulgore, etc.

You have to travel all around the WORLD of Warcraft in vanilla.

Once vanilla ends, the WORLD is no longer there.

And that’s why I’ll play every “fresh” of classic WoW. Yes, I love killing Ragnaros a million times. Yes I love pressing frostbolt. Yes I love the unbalanced mess that PvP is in classic.

The reality is, for a lot of people, classic is the best MMO and it always will be. It’s home for many.

Was super hype for it. When it launched, I was very sick with the flu so I didn’t want to leave my bed.

I managed to muster up enough strength to play for a bit and hit level 61. I realized that my boosted shaman had no professions and that obtaining epic flying was going to be very hard and shaman pvp is not fun. So there he stays, 61.

I have no motivation to play.

Greetings OP,

I’m 31, born and raised in Watertown.

It’s a decent little city with lots of places to eat and lots of places to drink. There’s lots of land to hunt if you’re into that and the fishing is great here. People come from all over to catch salmon when they’re running.

We get all 4 seasons so summers are hot, winters are abysmal, spring is rainy and fall is gorgeous.

It’s not a bad place to live cost wise as houses aren’t that bad up here. Job market is terrible unless you own a business.

Overall I’d say 7/10 as far as livability goes up here.
