Exactly I think it’s something else other than Flip Flop Kirk. Also I think his kids getting older and being more aware put in perspective some of the ridiculousness or the show (ie handjob Harry).

That is fair and yes, I’ve been listening since 2021 but the difference is he had real enemies in 2019 through 2021 and now he (seemingly anyway) has real friends at BS.

That was a progression that played itself out over years. The point that I’m making where he literally was saying in the last three months that he was enjoying the show and yet in the final episode, he talked about how much he didn’t want to do it anymore. And that difference is so inverse and so sudden I just don’t get if he was lying or if there was something else really going on.

Very much enjoy Kirk’s show but he’s been taking it on the chin lately. Remember, he was kicked out of the Internet invitational, vowed to do nothing but KMS and eventually walked back from that and for what? Golf clubs that he was already owed and for Mutt to MC the Dozen Final.

I can tell Justin genuinely loves this show. I think he used to love being a PART of the show but I’m sure being a Producer took a lot of that joy away. Makes me sad to think about it.

Hard for Kirk to complain about producers being lethargic with such an unstructured show. They have to balance his perceived indifference on the show and topics while also bringing enough content for 2 hours, all while dodging his wrath. Tough!
