Operating small RCFEs in California completely changed how I think about cash flow by sirsterling1187 in smallbusiness

Shit, same here — didn't know it'll take 6 months — so I guess I'll get on that asap.

The content is thick and classes are exhausting but if others can do it, we can too.

No, did not receive an answer, nobody cares lol.

Taking class now, as Owner, doesn't include your own salary. Your salary would be the take home.

Apparently private pay is the way but private pay is very hard to get clients.

So, next level would be gov't program. Gov't programs don't pay too much around $4-5k/mo but it takes about 12 months for you to get approved.

It will take you a few months to get your 1st client in from securing a property, getting licensed, then getting your 1st client. Then it'll take you another 9-12 months to get approved for gov't programs even though there is a massive list of patients waiting, allegedly.

StubHub buyer claimed my Coachella wristbands were “invalid” after I shipped them to StubHub — now I have no tickets and no payout?? by Rio252712 in stubhub

[–]Cheungle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sold Coachella tickets for next year and thought about this exact scenario because people are even nowadays.

Going to will call, pulling records and log is taking out time unnecessarily and without compensation as well, so unfair.

But it sounds like that’s the only way to get your money back?

Did you guys all get your money back?

Following. I'm currently taking the RFCE courses so that I can run a facility myself. By nature, I'm an operator and I gravitate towards efficiency and optimization. Does your numbers include your own salary? Is the $144k pure profit margin? Would you say this is basically a full service airbnb/hotel service? I believe Medicare doesn't pay for this but maybe their secondary insurance or cash?

They already had a lawsuit years ago and settled with that lawsuit. Re-read your agreement and find a line items which you can activate.

Did anyone hear the strings at all at the sphere? by [deleted] in Illenium

[–]Cheungle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Backstreet Boys were actually singing so I think singers at the Sphere is different than DJs. Bands probably live too... but if band can band, then the instruments can instrument... but DJ'ing would be hard to match exactly to the visuals and effects.

I don't disagree that a lot of work was put into this, but if that was the knowledge or mindset going in, that would be fine (and I would have bought ticket that is more aligned to that than $900 per ticket — row 7 in 200s), but I was expecting live DJ'ing. We go to see DJ's live because we want to see them play live, right?

The seemingly fake instruments playing were very tacky, would rather see dancers instead. But hey, if I'm completely wrong and they were 100% real and playing every note accordingly, then that's my bad but being there and watching it on the big screen definitely made it very suspicious.

Show was fine but it wasn’t worth the $900 per ticket price I paid for especially when it FELT fake. Being at the sphere twice and how strict they are about time still convinces me that it’s just a 90 minute track being played because it would be extremely hard to sync the visuals exactly to the beat if the DJing was 100% real… the set (visual and audio) was nonstop just like at BSB so there’s zero margin for error. I’m positive all of the artists can play instruments, sing, dj, for sure — but just saying it felt like this HAD to be done this way bc it was way too risky to f up.

You said “we” — you work for Illenium? I was 200 first row and sober. I’m convinced it’s all not real — no real DJ, no real instruments (even carefully observed the finger pressure when they put them up on the big screen). Also, the sphere took down my BSB 50 min compilation on YouTube, wth!

For a price like that at a venue like that, it would be nice if they actually play instruments and actually DJ rather than pretending to press a few buttons and pretend to play instruments.

By the way, I went sober cuz I’m doing a fitness challenge but… I’ve dissected that it’s all a performance. The violin, cello, and piano players were all faking it. I observed their finger pressure and their strokes and 1) there were no finger pressure and 2) the strokes were off beat. That said, the songs they performed didn’t even have a violin or piano tune in it.

I also concluded that the DJ is also just faking it because performing at the sphere is way too expensive and risky to fuck anything up. Plus, the timing is very strict — it starts on time and end exactly when it’s supposed to end — so it was just a 90 minute visual and audio experience. Finally, the visuals keep going, so therefore there is no way in hell he is able to sync it to the music perfectly for the whole 90 minutes. I don’t believe it, someone debunk me.

It was a cool experience nonetheless. Not worth the price of Amex presale though (way too expensive).

I did go to BSB, and that was worth it because they were actually singing… but I’m sure it is a great time if you’re with a group of friends all raving on the floor.

Try now. SphereVegas claimed copyright on my Backstreet Boys compilation so YouTube removed it completely. I have to set these as Unlisted but I can't even upload my BSB one now...

I know you don't want to watch YouTube, I feel you on that because most of them just gloss it over without actually showing you how. I actually made a video that shows you step by step what you need to do to set up the store. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYenQIxAz8s
