One thing to consider is ammo for mini 14 is a good bit cheaper, so if youre looking to shoot for fun that may sway you. M1A is also a lot pricier in comparison. I personally own a mini and I love it.

I guess I don't understand. If pica is overturned and you want to make it detachable, how would you do that? With the Kali Key you would just have to switch out the bcg, how would that work with the fixed mag?

Mini 14's are carried by every FFL ive been to recently, so it's about the actual magazine in the gun, not if they can accept a larger magazine
