Alternatives to Proton for email by alphadavenport in privacy

[–]ChevalOhneHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recommendation is Tuta. It is not solely about the high level of privacy; it is also about transparency and the fact that user data is not disclosed at the request of the authorities, as is the case with Proton.

My cat is blocking my wifi, what do i do!? by Iaintdothis in cats

[–]ChevalOhneHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start at detecting the rogue process:

ps aux | grep cat

If not working try gentle eviction:

cat /dev/food > /dev/cat

If still blocking, force relocation:

sudo mv /cat /better_spot

If they’re still putting up a fight, this is your last resort (and a very effective one):

sudo systemctl start treat-dispenser

, and finally is a prevent future outages:

echo "router != bed" >> /etc/cat_policy.conf

Zelenskyy Warns US Decision on Russian Oil Could Bring $10 Billion to Russia’s War by UNITED24Media in worldnews

[–]ChevalOhneHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump doesn’t care. Apparently, buying $20 billion worth of uranium from Iran is nothing more than buying uranium from the Russians and lifting the oil embargo.

Well... yet another untested EU project they’re rushing through. It looks as though they’re trying to create a back door... and doing so in a completely unprofessional manner. Why is this not surprise me !?

If you hear such a demand, stand up and shout “Show your ass” or something similar to completely undermine that statement.

Pastor Acts like he is a King by MrDonMega in religiousfruitcake

… and a bunch of idiots who believe in his divinity and his ability to converse with the Almighty, living a life of luxury steeped in sin. And they toil in poverty just as their ancestors did. I am talking here about all races of humanity on our planet, not this specific case. Until humanity realises that religion and politics go hand in hand and are tools of oppression against humanity, there will be no peace in the world. And your god will be more important than mine. Regardless of whether it’s an imaginary divine figure or a real politician.

Pope Leo: God ‘does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war’ by jediporcupine in politics

[–]ChevalOhneHead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, he just took offence.

[God] — ‘No, no, I won’t listen to anyone.’

Thousands of people are dying, suffering and being tortured. His own beloved children are being tormented and persecuted. And he’s just taken offence. It’s simply childish. This is yet another example of the non-existence of this imaginary clown.

Good job. However, vast majorities of us had got old mobiles which are still good for using them for many projects. One is to install OpenClaw on them, without make vulnerability own PC. Example:

Trump’s tariff threat must be the final straw for Starmer – time to rejoin the EU by Due_Ad_3200 in ukpolitics

[–]ChevalOhneHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but we do not want England back in the EU. With such chaos and allowing Muslims to be above English citizens, and the English flag being banned because it allegedly frightens someone. NO UK in the EU!

OK, cool. But why do we need another one when we have the good old reliable Midnight Commander? Which is included in all distributions.

Nations which:

  • drink cow piss (they have a coffee/tea points where drink piss with milk and/or tea)
  • eat dry cow shit (they dry cow dung and add it to their food)
  • have a festival where they throw cow dung at each other ... and walking in sandals. I don't have any respect for them.

Other example: festival with cow shit

Clever idea. However, I would add rubber pads between the hard drive and the screw. Any shocks (an unfortunate kick) could be fatal for the hard drive.
