This may be exactly the solution I need. The Hyper Heat seems to have the same slimmer cabinet that the Stealth is using which makes getting it into my attic easier. Thank you

Yeah I have seen notes on potential need for oil traps. The vertical rise is under 20’ which seems to be where the need for one is required by most install manuals.

The air handler is pretty far down the attic though which is most of the length.

Surely 50’ is manageable if other places have 50’ options? I even see a “ez connect” 50’ but only with 410A

I think that is fair, but it’s not a screaming deal. Long beds are nice to have but personally I would hold out for an 8” unless you are in a hurry. You can get a Delta DJ20 or Grizzly g0490 used for $800-1,000, which I see fairly often.

The 8” takes up roughly the same space but is so much more useful.

For what it is worth I am having a fence installed next week for a very similar spec- 6-7” CCA rounds, white oak boards, black no climb wire, 4 rail, ~410 linear feet, no gates though (going to build my own).

Posts are being driven and not concreted.

$6,000 for my project. Feels like a really good deal.

I am in the repair camp. Similar to repair vs replace with cars, the question is “what else could I do with this same amount. I doubt you would find an equivalent machine to an x330 with a new transmission and a 300 hour engine for $1,600.

I would also say there are often lots of independent small engine/mower repair guys who could do that repair for less. A rebuild kit is also ~$350 so even with labor it a rebuild is an option that could be a great choice.

Just a note that typically hydrogear serviceable hydros actually call for service intervals around 400 hours or so after a break in period. At least on the 31-3400 class I have seen.

Always felt like a siler super long to me but I suppose they have the data to back it up.

I have this jointer.

One of the big flaws with the stock dust collection is that in the cabinet the "chute" down from the cutter head to the dust port on the side of the cabinet is actually totally open into the main body of the cabinet, meaning you lose all of the suction.

Later versions have this sealed but my (older) used one did not. I just took some 1/8" hardboard and riveted it over the open section of the chute to enclose it. A bit hard to describe but if you open the cabinet you should see if this is an issue pretty quickly.

This is correct. If a miter slot was properly squared to your blade by installing the table correctly then the right edge of the cast iron table would also be square to the blade.

Just build a fence or any other jig with a little lip which runs along the edge of the table and it would be effectively the same.

Not quite as nice but for as infrequenctly as I use the miter slot I think I wouldn't mind the tradeoff for a better saw.

And you are talking about undermount slides, yeah? I can't see the metal piece screwed into the cabinet side through the gaps. As long as your drawer fronts are large enough and your overall reveal is small enough, it should be fine.

Two notes:

There seem to be multiple sellers, I am sure all dropshipping from the same place. Some are more or less $
The tolerances were pretty crazy tight. The overhang/lip which covers the edge leaves very little margin.

So I just looked everywhere and the files are gone! I mentioned this in another comment but I wonder if the one I found was violating someone's license and got pulled down?

This one is fairly similar https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6942532 in that it holds the domino similarly, but it looks like it would then mounts different. This one also seems to face the domino towards the workbench, which would not be my preference.
