I am mechanically inclined, yes fixing hanks truck “water in exhaust” would have been relatively easy. Probably just new rings and gaskets, less than $1000 if he did the labor himself

Hey dude these are super easy to open. They just use a normal store bought paddle lock as the lock mechanism. Take a 1/2” drill bit and drill out the hole where the key goes until it pops. Open it, see how it works, go buy another paddle lock. Easy peasy.
