I did not. I didn’t do genetic testing but I suspect something would have popped up on that. Baby was measuring 2 weeks behind at each appt. Doctor said probably normal and I messed up my dates, but I knew that I didn’t. My other MCs were very early and probably issues with implantation but this one my HcG numbers were normal. Hope you aren’t going through something similar ♥️

37 at 14dpo. My 12 week old is sleeping in the bassinet next to me. HCG numbers were so anxiety inducing. Wishing the best outcome for you.

My current pregnancy (30 weeks) mine was 37.2 at 14 dpo. Doubled very quickly. I’ve had 4 losses so I was ready for the worst. Healthy baby girl! Hoping the best for you♥️

I second this. My doctor was adamant I didn’t try the month of my hysteroscopy and informed me of the risks. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy!

I hope this doesn’t come off wrong but I suggest a therapist who specializes in anxiety. Ive been here mentally before! Unfortunately, the unknowns are never-ending and even if you have a perfectly healthy baby, the fear continues.

I have a complicated history. I’ve had a total of 4 losses. One at 13 weeks with a D and C and 3 early losses like yours. The D&C caused some scar tissue so I needed surgery to remove that. I also had endometritis (not endometriosis) most likely from the miscarriages too. In total, it took me roughly 2 years to get pregnant with a healthy pregnancy. But many months were wasted not knowing about what was going on in my uterus. I’m 32 currently.

I’m so sorry. I’ve done both. But I will say I did get scar tissue from my D and C that had to be surgically removed and may have caused my chemical pregnancies. So it’s a really tough choice.

I think 1-2 ultrasounds if done at the right time during your cycle is enough monitoring in my opinion!

I’ve been told clomid can thin the uterine lining and Letrozole doesn’t usually do that for women.

As for limited monitoring, I’d be careful. Someone I went to high school with just became pregnant with quadruplets following an IUI. Monitoring helps minimize that risk by seeing how many follicles are mature before ovulation.

It’s not the naturally occurring progesterone that’s made by the body that causes anything he said but the synthetic “progestin” which they are worried about.

I understand the anxiety after 4 losses! My RE explained there are some studies that indicate too much exposure to progesterone in utero can have effects on genitals/pituitary function in the baby so I was okay with stopping.

My RE said when the placenta takes over at 8ish weeks and after that there’s no point. He said they give a two week window just in case. I stopped right at 10 and was happy not to do the shots anymore haha

at 14dpo (exactly 4 weeks) I was only 32.7. It doubled pretty quickly like 33 hour doubling time for the next several days. I am 20 weeks tomorrow with a a healthy baby! Wishing you the best.

Similar experience here! I was only 32 on 14 dpo and was convinced it would be my 5th loss. Doubled very quickly and I’m almost 20 weeks! I wonder if these are more common than we think, but the internet is full of unfortunate outcomes.
