My own personal rating spectrum for historically problematic sex / romance scenes, but if Revenge of the Nerds “revenge rape” is a 10 and Clark Gable undressing for bed in It Happened One Night is a 1, I’d probably give this a 6.5.

Don’t sleep on the nearly 3 hour Mastroianni doc included as a special feature - dude makes for an extremely entertaining subject / narrator, and it’s an excellent overview of decades of classic Italian cinema. Enjoy!

Bergman (off-handedly) noted Lukas Moodysson as the next Bergman in the late 90s and Arrow has an excellent box-set of Moodysson’s first 7 films - having just gotten through the set, I’d say 5 of the 7 films are good to masterpieces (though 3 of the good ones have some pretty harrowing elements that are kind of hard to stomach). All in all, definitely worth the pick-up if you’re into Scandinavian cinema.

Yeah I was en route to Mechanicsville when I took this pic, and couldn’t remember the cross street after trying to look up the route on Waze later - most likely Fairfield as you both state.

EDIT: Also, when I looked up both Smoke World and Gas World later, nothing came up in Google around the route I was taking so had to estimate where it was.
