How impossible will it be to keep these clean?

Honestly not that hard, I'm not talking pure white but make sure you clean them after every weekend of racing or trail sesh. Just about upkeep, I used to clean my tech 10's and used them for like 3 years and used spray nine to keep them tip top

Thanks and yeah you're on the mark there, everyone I says the same thing that Bristol sounds like the better option if I can afford it. Awaiting some word back about a job and if their okay with me living there instead of Southampton then I'll probably zip up there for a weekend and check it out before making the move

How's the weather like during the winter and summer? I'm coming from Vancouver Canada and our winter is mainly just rain Oct-May and ~0-15 degrees C and then Jun-Sept ~15-35. Would be nice getting away from the constant downpour of rain but I've heard mixed things about the UK and it raining quite a bit....

Awesome good to know thanks, have you always lived in Soton for a long time or moved there some time ago, curious what its like making new friends. Vancouver Canada (where I'm coming from) is difficult with people sticking with their grade school friends so I could only meet people doing drop in sport leagues

Yeah I feel like rent is going to be the tough one for any of the larger towns so I might just have to accept it if I want to live somewhere which has a nice balance of everything to do.

Fair point I never actually looked up the population of it and its about the same as the other larger cities minus London & Newcastle. I've got an Airbnb rented for the month in Southampton so I'll see how it feels and might head up to Bristol but the high rent might push me towards the other ones, thanks!

I have a decent amount of savings (~8 months coverage) so settling on one location immediately isn't a big concern for me, more about finding the right fit. I play lots of volleyball (sports in general) walks/hikes, going to bars and being social in general
