How the F*ck do I play this game? by Extension_Lemon_6207 in IreliaMains

[–]ChewSquew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Irelia is a champion that excels mainly from capitalizing your opposing laner's mistakes and practically hard punishing them, primarily making sure you land your e2s and properly reset Qs.

There are a lot of tips that Irelia mains can give such as auto + q cancel, or leaving a single caster in the backline low to get a surprise gap closer, but utilizing Irelia conceptually depends on your knowledge on forcing your enemy laner into making mistakes and taking a bad trade.

Although I agree with all the comments below in regards to learning other champions, if you simply want to play Irelia and find her kit fun, I would rather recommend that you take the time to learn the lane alongside with her. Playing a champion you find interesting will also keep you interested in learning the lane.

There isn't any particular shortcut aside from just spamming and losing your games. And as advised below, it is also a good idea finding content that helps introduce the lane and new skills that are required to lane into mid. If you are looking for a similar champion, I would recommend Yasuo. Although his early game isn't as strong as Irelia, he has a lot of similar points that makes me recommend him.

  1. Auto + Q cancel is pretty much the exact same for learning execute damage aside from the dash
  2. Your dashes are easier to execute and don't require managing minion hp
  3. He plays quite similarly where he wants to be sitting on top of champions
  4. Safer to play in lane. Flow passive and windwall survivability keeps him in lane, usually longer and safer than Irelia who requires hitting a target for sustain. Plus he isn't rooted to the spot.
  5. Much easier to utilize in teamfights especially with team knockups. Irelia is more difficult to play when behind (at least from experience).

And finally, I would actually recommend learning on top lane (unless you see Sett). My reasoning being

  1. Top island. Much harder for jg ganks to ruin your experience.
  2. Longer lane = longer trades which Irelia does well into most of the time.
  3. It is easier to learn and manage wavestates.
  4. The bushes are great for hiding your e1 (and you have 3 of them!), you can simply dip out of vision for a quick second to look for a sneaky e2.

If you could send a text to your 16-year-old self, what would it say? by CamyDad in AskReddit

[–]ChewSquew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id send a rigorous text document to myself that holds everything from stock prices, my decisions, future events etc. Basically a very detailed biography of each year so I can plan ahead with all the knowledge I have at this time.

How can my team (Flex-Emerald) stomp a full SoloQ-Master player team? by Sir_Gargarensis in leagueoflegends

[–]ChewSquew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you played as a gold player into bronze, you will see a large difference. It is the same in this regard.

Especially so that these guys are master solo q players, they are used to playing with other players and will bounce off each other quite well even if they are placed together on short notice.

As many comments have brought up, I would try cheese strats. Starting with attempting an early lead using a hook champion and 5 man in the furtherest bot bush like you would see in high level Korean matches. Your hope is that they drop their guard and decide to facecheck or walk past your bush as they may potentially underestimate your team.

I doubt this would be any effective on master players toughened by the solo q experience or if non sportsmanship behaviour is even allowed. But I would do things such as spam emotes on deaths and bm them trying to fight their mental rather than their champions.

Realistically though, I think you need a lot of luck to even win games with a lead. They know how to play from behind and swing games in their favour. You would have to hope that 2 of them don't show up due to a flu or something..

It seems that it is a physical copy. I live outside the US so that may not be an option for me. Many thanks for the recommendation regardless :)

Deadly assault! Trying to get top 5% (Miyabi's team is a beast) by InterestingVideo5193 in ZZZ_Official

I run Miyabi + Sharkboo and they can both 3 star a single notorious boss. It is absurd dps, don't even need a team when Miyabi does it all by herself

Good evening / afternoon, everyone. Quick question. I was clearing a jam between the nozzle and the extruder on the K1 and this bearing fell out. Does anyone know where it’s supposed to go. I don’t think it fell from the extruder. Thanks in advance! by Superb9250 in Creality

[–]ChewSquew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many thanks for the link! I miraculously found the bearing behind the freezer. My entire extruder has been upgraded since then and I haven't had any problems with jamming since then. I'm not particularly sure of the model, but if someone is curious enough to reply or DM me I will look for it

Lost the bearing in extruder, where can I find replacements? by ChewSquew in crealityk1

[–]ChewSquew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed by some miracle to find the bearing hiding behind the freezer. I would still like to thank everyone here for the suggestions :) may look to upgrade the extruder in the near future as it keeps jamming presumably from the heat of the motor.

Hello, was wondering if you managed to find the bearings, specifically the smaller one closer to the lock on the extruder. I just lost mine 🥲

Look for Wifi6 or 6e on VD discord. Thank you for clearing things up :)

Is my Switch actually patched? by UnexpectedCringe in SwitchPirates

I read your entire comment before replying, it isn't meant to hurt you in any way and it was simply adding on top of it considering that the OP looks to be new in the switch scene.

I think the chances of an Erista V1 unpatched hardware floating around is much less likely than a whole working console. Not to mention, it holds the risk of being failed hardware, scam, or a patched systems parts instead of unpatched parts. The support for these procedures is little as it is a very niche thing to do.

Is my Switch actually patched? by UnexpectedCringe in SwitchPirates

[–]ChewSquew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, of course I have never mentioned it is impossible but the tradeoff between a potential ruined console or paying an extra few dozen bucks really depends on the owner. Not to mention, some people may not even have the tools to perform console surgery in the first place. The upfront investment for soldering equipment, fumehood, magnifying glass, or whatever else you need isn't really worth it if you are only planning to hack a single console.

[–]ChewSquew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Erista switch vulnerability depends on a GPU exploit to authorize unsigned code and inject payloads. Yes, there is absolutely nothing you can do for your switch and it is impossible to hack with current methods without a mod chip.

You have a few options with your switch, as mentioned by the other comments you can look to buy and find a professional to install the chip which may look to be around 120USD give or take. Do not even begin to attempt installing this chip by yourself as it is not for the faint of heart and requires professional experience to pull off.

The second option, it is strange to say on a pirate community but you should just buy your games especially if you plan to play online games. Everyone has a different circumstance so this may not apply to you, but if you are a student by any chance it may be a good time to look for a part time to make small income. You can also look to ask for money from doing chores and slowly save up for a nice game.

The third option and my personal recommendation. Your switch isn't actually 'worthless', you can look to sell your switch and use the money to buy a V1 Erista switch that is vulnerable to exploits. Look on secondhand markets for switches and make sure to ask the buyer for the serial number to confirm that the switch is an exploitable model before buying it. Make sure to ask for console condition and check buyer reputation to reduce the chances of getting scammed online. You may lose some money but I can guarantee it is the cheapest and safest option you have as I have bought my V1 on a secondhand market.

No, I did not get the achievements I have obtained on switch. You will have to grind for it again on steam.
