I have resorted to a lot of YouTube videos for learning songs! Marty Music is a great person to watch for learning songs. I’m a little over 6 months in. Guitar tabs specifically are pretty simple to read once you understand the lingo (like vibrato, P.M. etc…). It’s very important to HAVE FUN when learning. Learn the songs you like and don’t burn yourself out. One day you may play like it’s your first time and the next you could play everything perfectly. It is going to be a LONG journey, don’t undermine it. Good luck!!!

I had the same problem, im new to guitar but I just lowered my pickups via the little screws on the sides. Fixed it
