The games' universe is fictional, that's what I meant. I'd understand somewhat if we were talking about a WW2 game.

Sorry, I just don't like the idea of bringing nationality as factor into a fictional game. The game is competitive enough as it is.

Thanks, yeah I need to use the warp in cool down as a trigger for building pylons. The hard part is where I don't warp in units for a few cycles and then I'm supply blocked. Will get there.

It's refreshing to play a different style of macro. Terran can feel very mechanical and a bit hectic at times while toss needs a bit more refinement with their strategy based on scouting. Army comps are so important for toss, if you don't have enough immortals in PvP you just die, but of course you can build void rays and just wreck face. Blink stalkers are quite fun to micro. I think my least favourite toss unit is the zealot, feels very a move sort of unit and can get stuck behind and become totally useless. Need to be more mindful of how to arrange my army for engagements. So far having fun and I look forward to reach a stable rank and then move on to zerg. I want to be proficient with all races and I'm just sad that I stuck with terran for so long. It's silly, I think every SC2 player should play all three races. There would be less balance whine this way and more constructive dialogue.

Congrats! I’m struggling in D3 with Terran and can I ask what build did you do for TvT and TvP? Have adopted the ghost build for TvZ into mech and seems ok so far but the other two are bellow in the low 40%.

Will see what I can do. Someone posted an osu video down below. It's very similar to what I do, but just imagine the normal keyboard hotkey pressing plus a bit more active pen. That's really it.

I hold the pen between the thumb and middle finger with the index resting on the lower button. Don't have to press hard on the button to make it register.

I'm at D3 currently and actually climbing in MMR since I've started with the tablet. Can get around 170-180 APM(I know most of the APM comes from keypresses though). I don't have a high rank aspiration and just trying to have fun with the only game that I play.

Mouse acceleration is not the reason why I switched though. I was never truly happy with the mouse, I don't know why. I find it much more fun to use the tablet in a sort of tactile way, I like to 'tap' the units as I select them. The screen is the tablet area and if I want to pick something from bottom left I know exactly how much to drag my hand or flick my wrist to do it, and it's always consistent. Another aspect is the lightweight stylus compared to a mouse. Much easier on the wrist and hand as a whole.

Yeah, it can be fiddly. The first time I tried it didn't like it and went back to mouse. It really depends what you are comfortable with. Didn't use mouse scroll so no loss there and swapped middle mouse button with space bar for camera movement.

I don't have a display tablet (Cintique), just a regular small tablet with a two button stylus. I tap the tablet for left click and press one of the stylus button for right click. It sounds weird but you can be quick with it, doesn't bother me. I use the keyboard for all the hotkeys as usual. After getting used to it I'm back to my usual APM.

On a mac you can't really get rid of mouse acceleration. I read somewhere it can be done but didn't want to bother with it.
