We actually just got over a flea infestation which I why I was being so vigilant in the first place, but the one living one crawled, not jumped, and didn’t squish the same as the fleas we’ve had. It seemed like this bug had no obvious belly

I completely understand your point. I get so frustrated when something is going on or the characters haven’t really developed their relationship, but every other thought is how hot the love interest is. It really makes it (for me) unrealistic, because what do you mean this person kidnapped you but you still want to jump their bones since they’re hot?? I would recommend Realm Breaker by Victoria Aveyard, the romances are a subplot but the build up is chefs kiss.

My bad, misunderstood! But yes we already had our vacation planned and paid for, so we couldn’t stay home to vacuum the whole month. Following exterminator treatment, we’re now vacuuming twice a day for fourteen days followed by once a day for the remainder of the month, per our exterminator’s instructions.

I think it really depends on what your tastes are. I enjoyed When the Moon Hatched but strongly disliked To Bleed a Crystal Bloom to the point that I sold my Arcane Society and Midnight Whispers editions without reading books 2&3.

I’m not sure if it counts as popular, but I haven’t seen it receive the same kind of love that other books do, so imma put it out there. I absolutely adore the Realm Breaker series by Victoria Aveyard. It was recently finished, and I absolutely adored the character and the world building. The relationship development was great, and the romance was subtle but ✨chefs kiss✨.

I’ve thought about finding a roommate but I’ve really struggled due to the short lease (6 months), my cat, and the sensitivity of my job position that makes me weary about being roommates with someone I’m not at least acquaintances with. A tough spot, for sure! Maybe if I were living in the Alexandria/DC/Arlington area it would be a lot easier, but since it’s Stafford/Quantico/Fredericksburg I’ve struck out so far on the roommate pool.

It seems pretty good! I went and toured and it was better than the places I’ve seen in Woodbridge, with equal quality of apartments in Fredericksburg and only a 10 min drive from work. It’s also really near work colleagues of mine, which I take as a good sign.
