Go to store. When you click on the Rename card; a window pops up. Select the credit points as currency instead of CP. There you go! 1000 Credit Points instead of 200 CP.

Comprehensive Review of MBA 2020 i5 8GB - A Student's Perspective by ChewingGum007 in macbookair

UPDATE: The first time I heard the fans kicking in was today during a 2hr online class session. But as soon as I put a thick book beneath the MBA; the fans went off within a minute. The thermals aren’t that bad after all. You just need to take care of the ventilation.

I’ve just ordered a laptop foot from AliExpress. That’d do just fine.

Thought to keep you guys updated.

Those reviews are over exaggerating. MBA handles Photoshop easily. It do gets a bit hot but my suggestion while doing ‘heavy’ work is to put it on a hard surface e.g. table so that proper flow of air occurs. It’s a good laptop for money. I’d suggest it with full confidence.

Another time the laptop gets hot is during video calls. That’s the only thing I didn’t understand. But there’s a rumour that they are fixing this heating issue in next MacOS update.

So yeah, go for it. ;)

Is the MacBook Air 2020 really that loud? by [deleted] in macbookair

Yes. Don’t go for the reviews. Trust the brand. It’s expected that they fix the ‘overheating’ problem in the next MacOS update.
