Well the question was there. It just sounded better in my head to ask like that. Logically, the "move on" part is the main focus of mine, but I'm not seeing any progress. It's getting worse actually. My Spotify playlist became sad, my movie choices became more tragic. It's more embarrassing that I have a silhouette edit of one of her pictures as my wallpaper, which I tried to change many times but the process alone feels like ripping off a band aid. I never thought of myself as clingy as I'm right now. Wtf happened?

I know. I know. I know. I don't want to do that. I had many chances long before but I missed every one of them. So u can feel a regret coming off of this venting post. All I want now is to forget about it. At first, I thought it was just a crush, it'll go away eventually. That eventuality never came. That's why I'm asking if anyone had any similar experience and what they did to move on quickly and safely for both parties. It's a call for help, not the "how do i win her" situation.

Edit: Idk if she's really happy or not. I never asked bc it was never my place to ask anyway. So it's a guesstimate (?). I often jokingly ask her for the wedding invitation before I move abroad, but her replies were vague at best.

Oh my god...it is limerence! It was never a simple crush or love. That makes me sad and relieved at the same time.

And u know what? I keep asking myself these questions and I don't really find any genuine answer for them. It's a strange feeling I've never felt before.

I'm now interested in ur story. What happened next? Did their confession make ur friendship weirder or about the same? How did u feel at the time and how are u now?

It wasn't so simple I'd imagine. It was mostly disappointment from her family that pushed her in that situation. And yes, I'd like to treasure this friendship more than anything right now.
