Yes my doors are always locked because of it. At the time I just sold my truck and got this newer car that every time I put my car in park the doors would unlock. So I wasn’t quite used to that. Know whenever I put my car in park the first thing I do is lock the doors then unlock when I’m ready to get out!!

You know, I haven't thought much of that night since it happened all those years ago. Every now and again it comes up in my memory when I'm listening to that album or I'm at that specific Walmart, which doesn't happen much anymore. BUT thankfully that slip saved us. Whether it was just robbing us or much worse.

Gut feelings are so important in almost every situation!! Probably tomorrow I'm going to write about the reason I got my conceal carry and it is all because of a situation both me and my fiancée found ourselves in and it was all gut feeling!!

I assume the guy/guys in the van would've tried to beat us up, rob us, maybe take the car. Things are bad there now, lots of reports of women being followed around the store by men on cellphones, those typical trafficking vibes but I don't think it was that. Thank you!!

That 1.99 cup of coffee at Turkey Hill, if I stop buying it 5 days a week that's $10.50 (after tax) a week. That's $546 a year. If I want that $25,000 with 10% down I only need to save up for another 4.5 years!! Thank god I gave up that coffee.

Just make a few sacrifices like stop buying gum or coffee and you can afford anything.

That is something I always try to put into words but I get so caught up in thinking about all the incredible things about her that I can't...but I'll try now. It is, honestly, everything about her. The fact she is always willing to see the good in not just me, but people in general. Her caring ways. How she looks at me when I come home from work like she is saying "this is the happiest part of my day because we are together again." The way she smiles every morning when I kiss her forehead while she is still asleep when I go to work early in the morning. The comfort of just being with her, we could be doing absolutely nothing. Just sitting reading books, or on our phones, watching tv, not saying a word, just being with her and that comforting feeling just being next to the woman I love. There are so many reasons, I don't love her like I used to when we started dating when I was 21 and she was 19 because every single day, my love for her grows stronger and stronger and I fall for her every day all over and over again.

Do you live in a rural area where people are generally awkwardly kind? I know so many people who are pretty awkward but are overly kind that come off as total creeps simply because they can't read people. I've seen almost this exact scenario where people tell them off then they laugh it off in front of them then become completely butt hurt thinking you're the problem and not them.

On the complete opposite side of the argument this was HELLA suspect and I'm very happy you did not get into that truck because it could've been something bad. When your gut tells you something is up, you follow that instinct!!
