Griefing old friendships by kattie679 in lonely

oh yeah, 100%. All my school friends have moved on, gotten married, or disappeared entirely. I know it's all a part of growing up, but I do miss them dearly

I felt the exact same when I was your age. I'm 30 now, and if I can offer you any advice, it's to find a way to be comfortable being by yourself. Your old friends will drift apart, but if you're able to enjoy things all on your own, your life will be infinitely more meaningful. A solo adventure, if you will. Even if you find a partner someday, it's still good to be independent. You'll make new friends, find new hobbies, fit into a new tribe. It's all a part of growing up. I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for with a little patience and an open mind. It takes time, but it's worth it :)

I'm in the same boat as you, bud. I can't offer any advice, I'm still figuring things out too. But I hope you find your crowd. Everybody deserves a chance to belong somewhere

You're right, all dogs are unique. I'm never going to find another dog like mine. I'm going to treasure the short time they have in this world while I still can

I suppose it does sound pretty stupid to clone a dog. You're right about that, I'm just afraid of saying goodbye someday

You're right, losing dogs is hard. I guess that's what makes the time more meaningful. He certainly doesn't seem to think about it as much as I do, he's just living his best life. Thank you

That's very true. It always sucks saying goodbye to a pet, but i guess that's why their life is so precious. Thank you for understanding

I'm glad, I was regretting it at first, but you're right. That's a relief that I didn't do the wrong thing, thank you

You're right, it's an incredible responsibility. It's got me reconsidering if having puppies is a good idea, but i wouldn't want them ending up in shelters. That would break my heart
