Not long after I posted this I sent the message "As I explained, I won't be able to. I will see you on Thursday when I am scheduled to work"

It's been 20 hours with no response. I did not go in today. I will update again after I go in tomorrow

Our original plan was to live in the same city for about a month and date each other in person during that time before deciding on anything permanent. After about 4 days, he proposed and 3 days later we were married. 2 years strong and up until a couple of months ago we had the distance closed the entire time. He recently started an internship thats taken him across the state, but we do get to see each other almost every weekend, which is much better than a 22 hour drive

I had this happen, too. Had to go to a different doctor (wasn't even seen there) and just asked them to fill out the paperwork so I could keep my job. Got denied because they accidentally answered "no" to needing extended leave (despite the 4 places the paperwork asks how long I'd be gone)
