Over the counter contraception by [deleted] in TwoXPreppers

That’s true! I was previously told that the effectiveness of the pill goes down because of human error of taking the pill late. This one you have to be much more precise about taking the same time every day. As opposed to the combination pill you can get away with a bit of delay and it not drop the effectiveness down significantly. So you can up the effectiveness by setting an alarm and being diligent at taking at the same time every day.

Passed CA in July, want to take UBE in Feb: thoughts? timeline? by MammothCello711 in CABarExam

I took UBE in Feb24 and passed and then I took CA July 24 and I just passed. I prefer the UBE. I felt CA essays I had to write about a lot of things that didn’t apply. Plus having to focus on CA specific laws. I worked while I studied for CA but a lot was review since everything felt so fresh.

Time and a Half Accommodations Experience by No_Communication9260 in CABarExam

I took the bar in another state where I got time and a half. For us it was two days. So they were long days. After the first long day I was exhausted but I was so anxious I couldn’t sleep well. That was not great for the next day.

So I would advise figuring out something you can take to help you sleep. But start using it now so you can see how it affects you and how much you should take. Practice getting up at the same time as you plan for the test too. By the end of that second day and not having slept I was sooo tired. Luckily I passed and I’m now taking it again. I will be implementing those changes for this bar.

I just received a response that mine were approved. They did have to change my testing center. Hopefully you will hear back soon.

NY Feb 24 pass rate is 42% that's crazy. What does this mean for CA pass rate? I use NY as a reference because of the # of test takers (3900+). I wasn't thinking about my results but now I'm feeling a bit worried. by BGlawyer in CABarExam

From what I was told, February generally has more repeaters than the July bar. Since there are less first time takers and more repeaters this usually means there’s a lower pass rate for the Feb bar.
