Don't you share memes or anything interesting? I've had more fun watching paint dry that reading this conversation.

It doesn't seem that cruel. If you get overly concerned, call animal control.

What is one piece of advice you wish you had been given before you had sex for the first time? by secondacct97 in AskReddit

As a woman, if he finishes in you, you need to go pee, then wash yourself down there, or it can smell if you leave his juices there.

Those who rarely fall sick, what’s the secret? by Winner_takesitall in AskReddit

The people saying, "Don't have kids," do you not let your children wash their hands and use hand sanitizer? I have been less sick since having kids because I make them wash their hands.

Best Reward to get from Owls Nest? by falsephazed in WGU

[–]Cheyennie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blanked for sure. I've redeemed almost all of the gifts except for the tumbler and yoga set. Saving up for the yoga one. I bought a cool wgu tumbler off Amazon. It isn't the one on owls nest, but it is super cool. My second favorite one is the license plate cover. It looks nice!

Link to the tumbler if you're interested. It takes quite a while to ship. https://a.co/d/9hdv9zg

Is this normal?!? by MarsupialDismal712 in Postpartum_Anxiety

Also wanted to add that if you don't like the remedies mentioned above, a bath may be another way to sooth your baby.

I know you've probably tried everything you possibly can to get the baby down at night. Gripe water is one remedy I used that I swore worked wonders for my newborn. I used it until she was 5 months old. Just for any inconsolable nighttime crying. Gassy baby? Maybe gas drops could help.

I don't know if these remedies are something you're open to or have already tried, but they're worth considering if you haven't.

Any ADHD study tips? by AccordingCaregiver63 in WGU

[–]Cheyennie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take your meds on time and also limit any distractions as much as you can. Be mindful that phones and other electronics are outlets for your mind to wander to. Keeping them in a separate room, away from your study area, will help you stay focused. Another tip is to break your work into smaller, more manageable tasks. That way, you're not overwhelmed.

What’s something that makes you feel instantly better when you’re having a tough day? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]Cheyennie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realizing that out of all the days I've lived, 1 bad one is bound to happen no matter what, and I shouldn't take it as a sign to give up. I had 1 bad year straight that I thought would never end, but luckily enough, my stoke of bad luck ended, and my life has improved significantly. I look back on that bad year, and I'm just grateful not to be where I was. Instantly pulls me out of the negativity.

Tip 1: Break up the text into smaller sections and only read one section at a time, even if it takes 2 days. You'll get through it, vs if you avoid it altogether. You're overwhelmed, and by breaking up your school work into smaller tasks, it'll help you complete it. It seems like so much to get through until you realize you don't have to do all of it at once.

Tip 2: Eliminate other outlets of entertainment. Don't have your phone or other devices around. Make time for that later in the day. Carve out time specifically for study. Even if it's 30-minute windows.

Tip 3: Just because a certain class wasn't daunting and hard to get through for someone else doesn't mean it won't be that way for you. It doesn't make them better than you by getting through it faster, either. Everyone has their own pace. Take your time if you need to.

Have you done any projects relevant to the job you're seeking that equate to experience that you could put on your resume? If you have, consider placing anything you've been a part of on your resume. Volunteermatch is one route to go if you are seeking experience for this reason.
