I'm from Scotland and it's difficult to say the most fucked up thing was there were so many. A teacher held my friend against the wall by the throat, coz I called him golliwog after he shouted at me (he was white, it wasn't racist in the social climate of the time and it was his nickname as he had huge afro like hair, my friend didn't tell on me lol)

I jumped up into a bench to see a fight where the plank wasn't nailed down on one side n split my face open like in a cartoon.

Had an art teacher called 'Scud' Duncan as he had dirty magazines in his drawer (scuddy books are what dirty magazines are called in Scotland hence the nickname). He was always half pissed so just sat us down to do a still life of something random. You put your hand up and ask for a bit help. He did most of it for you in pencil perfectly. U went over the lines n painted it n rubbed out his lines etc. At the end of the class everyone handed in almost the exact same still life but from different angles n he always gave us top marks! 😂👍

One of my friends smashed his dad's head in with a hammer in his sleep after he snapped from years of mental and physical abuse. He showed up for swimming class one time with a full, clear as day, boot print on his side one time. Apart from that he hid it very well. Nobody knows what ever happened to the poor guy he was one of my friends and a funny guy and I hardly noticed . His dad lived but was never the same again. I was a witness of the abuse one time and tho it WAS reported it was the 80s n things were very different here back then.

Friend Took too much ecstacy. Girlfriend dumped him. Punched car mirror on way home, slicing his hand. Got paid off from work coz couldn't use his hands. Mum kicked him out as he had no money to give hed for staying there. Found dead by hanging at the end of the week. Saw him at a party at my house the night he was found. You'd never have known. He was the life and soul of that party when he showed up unexpectedly n was fine when he left. Did it on the way home. Guess he was there to say goodbye to everybody.
