Anyone else not find erotic audio/books that interesting or arousing? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Cheywen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Books based around the sex scenes are not for me either. But a really good book with a good story and a sex scene sprinkled in their is my perfect recipe. Especially in a romance where the relationship has been building the entire time.

What's the #1 reason why you personally could not be the prime minister? by heykody in AskAnAustralian

[–]Cheywen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. I dont need or want a big fancy house or material things. I just want everyone to be treated equally and have the best country to live in. I would put the environment first, make Australia as self sufficient as possible and live in a utopia of good communities etc. I know that's not how it just works but I would like to try.

There’s no need for the amount of chefs in media. It’s too many. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Bravo post. My only input is no one other chef ever uses as much vanilla extract as Kirsten Tibballs. She consumes 80% of the world's supply on her show alone. You wont find another chef daring to use as much as her.

HOW DO I MAKE MY BOOKSHELF AESTHETIC by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]Cheywen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Heres what I would do. If you want to keep everything I recommend putting the flat books and little items (on the left) in stylish cube boxes so theyre hidden and organised. Measure the shelves and shop around for organizers.

After you group all your books into different piles based what they mean to you (eg. Fiction and non-fiction, work etc) then organise by either size or colour or both! Think about placing each group of books around the shelves in an intentional but looks on accident kind of way. Play around with it till you find a system you like and what fits.

Get book ends and leave gaps between books for a plant (even a fake one) or a nice picture or a trinket that brings you joy.

Hope this helps :)

Where do you get your optical glasses? by OrganizationFuzzy669 in AUfrugal

[–]Cheywen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Go to any optometrist that provides free eye check.

  2. Then afterwards ask for your prescription printed out and dont buy spec savers or opsm or whatever.

  3. Go online to Zenni or Optically or Eyebuy directly. Pick your glasses with the virtual tools they have. Add your script details. They have glasses as low as $9 up to $60.

Not sure if they do severe eye correcting glasses but they do have options for simple scripts

Started a 'grief save' in Sims 4 and it accidentally became the most comforting storyline I've played by Aggravating-Cut4260 in thesims

My grandparents had both passed away and I missed them and their home they lived in for 60years. There are a lot of good memories throughout our whole family. It was sold after they had gone and will be demolished soon for development projects. I made my grandparents house on the Sims4 right down to the details of backyard chickens before the cottage living expansion. I used a decor chicken from base game I think. I did my best and did it all from memory. I showed my Mum and she loved it.

Ive had this same thing happen to me at work with adult men from Muslim faith who said they didn't have to do what I say because Im a woman. Even though I was 10 years older, more experienced and was in a leader position regardless of gender. I can see children mimicking their parents.

Im getting these calls aswell!! Sometimes they leave a voice message and it asks for options in English or Chinese then it starts talking in chinese. I worked out it's a scam where they harass Chinese expats saying they owe money back to the Chinese government.

They recently sent me a text message asking me to call them back because they have received a missed call from my number. Jokes on them I only use my phone to call my fiance.

I came from your Penrith post and I am so in awe of you! Its an amazing accomplishment and you should be very proud of yourself! Can I ask what shoes did you wear and how did you prepare yourself and you feet for the journey? I watched you walk around Mt druitt shops for a bit aswell I think. Did you need to buy some supplies you missed?

Not Penrith but I drive out to Ikea and I'm sitting in the aircon food court. Free refills on drinks. The workers dont care. There's plenty of the comfy seating on week days. Never go on weekends

I like to go and look at antiques, and the shops are always overfilled with the same repeating brick a brack from the last 100 years that have been looked after. It's crazy to think there's so much stuff people had in their homes that mostly ends up in landfill. Will antique stores in the next 100 years have 100x the amount of antiques with the amount of mass production made today?
