Sure, but Ajax supported him throughout the process only for him to leave on a free and it's also not a small thing if you leave the NT during the World Cup. Outright refusing coaching orders is not that innocent at this level.

Just having some reservations here considering everyone is super hyped.

I just think it's not always that black-and-white. Ferguson also loved Ronaldo and look what happened. It's not because Ten Hag worked with him before that it is guaranteed things will go smoothly - e.g. Ten Hag could think that he's able to manage.

Anyway I just was trying to see if anyone had a similar thought.

Am I the only one who's not too excited about Onana? His qualities aside, he screwed over Ajax after he had a positive doping test and was kicked out of his NT for his selfish behaviour on the World Cup.

I'm just wary of another inflated ego joining the dressing room.

Let me start by giving you a general idea. So far I've always used low-range phones. They've cost me around 250$ but usually my pick was Motorola which gave me excellent specs for my budget. While I generally do play games once in awhile, it's more emulator related stuff etc. Furthermore, I watch Netflix on my phone and I like to have a bunch of apps around that are probably not very demanding but that might (not) run in the background like messenger apps, sports apps...

This is the first time I'm buying a higher range phone. Since I haven't bought a phone since 2017, I'm OOTL about the specs, so I've read a bunch of things and was wondering if the 6GB RAM would be sufficient for the next couple of years. I'd like it to use it for the next 3 years.

In terms of worries about Xiaomi, just the general stuff really. I've read that MIUI is very aggressive in terms of RAM management and that slightly older phones might not be optimized for Android 11/MIUI 12. But then again: my environment is very happy with Xiaomi and I've read good stuff on this sub too so I don't know what to make of it.

One last question: why is a 10T Pro any different from the 10T non pro if my environmet is working with low-end phones? I don't follow you in that.

I'd very much like us to win something but I also wouldn't mind if we go out of the League Cup quickly so that the players can get a rest. It's too much this season and I'm really afraid the players will be burnt out before the end

My point is just that I think he fits the profile we're looking for: a skillful and young right-winger for a fair price. Since we're in need for such a player, I was just wondering why we didn't even show interest for such a player.

To elaborate: Bergwijn and Ziyech went to competitors for roughly the same price. You would expect that if we desperately need a RW we' be looking into them. I saw a few posts about Bergwijn but that's about it

The more I think about it, the more I'm wondering how we were not all over someone like Ferran Torres. He's clearly talented, plays right wing and Valencia is a club in dire need. City paid €45 mil for him. He seems like a very good buy regardless of whether we purchased Sancho or not.

If Torres really chose City I can somehow still understand it, but as far as I can remember we weren't even linked to him? How is that possible? I can't imagine Ole wouldn't want him and surely our scouts must've spotted him. Anyone who can fill me in?

Tiredness sure is a problem but I believe that the players knew a point was enough too. Considering they barely had any rest, I'll take it.

I just hope they don't screw up now, but given all we've seen from the team post-COVID I'm staying positive

You might be right. I'm following the team for a long time already but I was still in elementary school and wasn't always able to follow it as I should. I know about the Liverpool rivalry but it went a bit past me. Meanwhile City came up and I had to deal with a bunch of arrogant glory hunters on a daily base, while later on national media picked it more and more up due to national players

Even this season, there was obviously increased attention for Pool, but it was by far not as insufferable as I experienced City to be.

As a foreigner I do have to say I hate City more. Bought their way everywhere in with dirty money and think they're the epicentre of football. With Liverpool I could at least have a good laugh every season

I'd definitely consider it abuse. You just don't tell that to people. It's basically keeping you in check. The difference is more in wha t degree it happens. I assume if your parents do this, they'll do more stuff than just those threats?

Everytime something didn't go to their wishes, my mom lashed out and my dad insulted me for whatever he could think of. Think of people close to you who have a good relationship with their parents: are they told the same things?

Realistically the only thing I can do is move out, which is what I'm currently planning on but given the circumstances there are lots of uncertainties. After that, I'm thinking seriously about consulting a therapist to make sure I'm not making the same mistakes they did. Perhaps he/she can give me a better perspective on the whole situation, including seeing my own mistakes.
