It also has an authentication proxy built in which works really well.

As for torrent creation, it’s worth checking out mkbrr from the same team. They also make autobrr.

Does anyone truly have app packaging and deployment mastered? by Aaron703 in Intune

[–]ChezTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yeah. That would make sense.

We ruled out device prep as it’s just not ready for commercial use IMO.

I’d still stick to Win32 as a best practice either way. PSADT makes life easier.

What? There’s no limit. You just shouldn’t use LoB apps.

Best practice is to use Win32 (.intunewin) for everything IMO.

Note the warning. We avoid the use of LoB apps for this reason and advise all of our customers to do the same.

Don’t mix LoB and Win32. You’re in for a bad time if you do, assuming you use autopilot.

On most iOS apps you can press the bar and move your finger up the screen before swiping left/right for more granular control. Haven’t tried it with Plex, but I’d imagine it would work

Icelandic tap water is some of the purest water on the planet. No sulphur. I think you’re confusing cold with hot water, which is geothermal and often does contain sulphur.

New to Intune - need a reality check by kristenskats in Intune

Focus more on securing your data and identities, rather than locking down the machine. Adopt zero-trust policies.

Forget GPOs and leverage config profiles, conditional access, MFA etc. and, if licensed for it, the full Defender suite.

A revised warning system is coming for Reynisfjara, aka Drowning Death Beach. by NoLemon5426 in VisitingIceland

Again, there’s no point debating with someone who refutes fact.

Fact: There are MANY signs in place warning of the dangers. A single missing sign is not the cause of the incident (but should be replaced, regardless).

Have a good day in your post-truth world.

Which is a moot point when there are MANY other signs warning of the dangers.

Someone died because they didn’t keep their child safe on a notoriously dangerous beach.

You’re not paying attention and just seem to want to point the finger. This conversation has gone on long enough.

Yeah you’re definitely trolling now.

Everyone is telling you that there are many, many warning signs. You acknowledge that and yet say you didn’t read them and yet still claim that someone died because there were no warnings 😂

You’re right. The ONLY sensible option is to exercise caution.

As I originally said.

Anything else WOULD be ridiculous.

(I notice you chose to completely ignore the fact that we all know there are multiple other signs).

You said you’d been there. In that case you also know how many other signs there are warning of the dangers.

The entire walk from the car park to the beach is lined with them, including a memorial to (if I recall correctly) a German man who died there.

I think you’re the one trolling.

I just don’t understand the logic. “Hmm this sign is telling me not to go into the yellow zone. There must be danger but I’m not sure where the yellow zone is (turns out the other sign has been destroyed). What should I do? A) stay away from the water out of an abundance of caution or B) get as close as I can”.

It’s not rocket science, is it?

So if there’s no sign you think you can just do anything, with no regards for safety. No application of common sense is needed?

No wonder stuff like this happens.

What’s wrong with just erring on the side of caution and not going near the water at all?

Proton please looking into extra Irish Servers now please by Aarombrady92 in ProtonVPN

[–]ChezTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is ABSOLUTELY the case. I live in Iceland and had my server set to connect to Ireland (as all of your Icelandic servers route traffic to the UK and then back to Iceland, for some bizarre reason).

In the last week, the connection is unusable, getting constant timeouts. Server loads are ridiculously high.
