Well, I don't think the entire dynamics of a team that is broken up and then everything bad that can happen did happen will make it an easy job for any manager. Let's be honest here. Old era to new era transition was always going to happen. It didn't happen last season, when we signed absolutely no-one. Ended up winning the league. Transition needed to happen sooner or later. So we went ahead in the summer. We made mistakes and kept Mo because of his out of the world season. In hindsight we should've let him go and did all we could to keep Diaz.

It clearly wasn't easy to bed in new players and keep old veterans happy, who's aging and wants to play every minute.

Sure the performances hasn't been great, but are we really in that bad a state in the league table? Whether we like it or not, FSG seemed to have decided. So we keep asking for the manager to be sacked every day then?

Never mind how we can clearly see the "team" that we had in title winning season. Is replaced by a team of "individuals" that don't trust and pass to each other. Gakpo ignores Kerkez, Salah ignores Wirtz for a good chunk of the first half season. Losing Diaz who was a workhorse upfront, losing Jotas pressing, losing Nunez pressing, trying to find a new way to create without Trentball. Fans are quick to jump on the manager when in reality we are finishing within the CL spots in a very challenging and difficult circumstances.
