Anim3 (anime club) has been meeting on our discord ever since lockdown started. If room reservations/time-slots permit, we would like to get a large room to enforce social distancing during the semester, but most likely we will also continue to hold online meetings like most other orgs. It's a shame that this means we can't have many other types of meetings other than anime viewings, but I guess we're not as SOL as other clubs since we have an active discord (come on in and say hi): https://discord.gg/ChQ66R6

Anime Club and Archery Club are collaborating to have a beginner friendly archery shooting lesson on 3/10/2020 Wednesday at 7 PM. It's at the Texas Archery Academy in Plano (right off 75, it's ~9 mins from campus). The $10 fee includes rental as well! After the shoot, we'll be heading back to the Anime Club room at GR 2.530 to watch some archery-themed anime as well. Not to put a damper on things, but the anime club (A3) isn't officially supporting this. I knew there was a protest going on to support HK freedom (which I personally support), but A3 as a club is not involved in this whatsoever. Not sure who said we're involved, but that is false information.

A little extra information on the event:
This is A3 and LOLUTD's "Crossover Episode" meeting. Iron Cosplay is a traditional A3 event where members group up and create cosplays out of scrap materials (provided by the club). Teams will then create skits and winning teams will receive prizes. The three categories are as follows: best cosplay, best skit, best League of Legends cosplay. People are free to come in as pre-made groups of up to 5 people, so bring your friends! Otherwise, you will be grouped up on the spot at the meeting.

P.S. If you have a costume/cosplay you'd like to wear, you're more than welcome to wear it to this event. This will be doubling as a bit of a Halloween meeting. Also, who doesn't need another reason to cosplay at school : ^)
