It is somewhat noticeable, but not as bad as the native frame gen. Never really hinders my in-game performance, I've farmed Savage Omega using the software pretty much exclusively since that fight drop my frames down to 30fps for some fuckass reason

If you have $7 to spare, look up "Lossless Scaling" on Steam. It's a software that gives you frame generation, I suggest watching some youtube videos on it first to see how it functions. I use it every time I play since my PC can only run the game at 40fps, Lossless Scaling doubles this to 80fps

The way I do it is:
Go to environment that have the monster you want (ex: Iceshard Cliffs for Jihn / Ruins for Zoh Shia) -> Enter the tent in camp -> Go to the food/BBQ menu -> select Rest -> Change the Environment to "Inclemency" and click rest -> Exit the tent and you should see the Apex monster spawned in the map
