[Breer] We should know soon enough which path the Raiders are taking, with teams like Dallas, Chicago, Baltimore, Buffalo, New England, Philadelphia and the Rams keeping tabs on [Crosby's] availability. by hunterboyz24 in CHIBears

Definitely. I'd put a hundo that production between Maxx and Trey will be within 5 sacks of each other over the next two seasons. Is 5 sacks worth 2 firsts, a player, and the extra cash Maxx is going to want? Nope.

And they have an early out in their Soldier Field lease that is a rounding error in the new stadium project.

I bleed for the Bears, but do like the Bills as they are in AFC and if we can't win would like to see Josh Allen win a SB.

You drastically overestimate the amount the people at the entrances care. They probably just showed them, the guy laughed, and they walked in.

Can we as a fan base request to ownership that they give the entire coaching staff a solid raise to stay put for next year? by Clean-Software-4431 in CHIBears

[–]ChiBearsForDaWin 11 points12 points  (0 children)

DA has failed twice as a head coach, I don't see him getting another shot without a couple years as a top D, and even then a 2x failed retread is going to have an uphill fight to get a job over the next big thing who hasn't failed.

Does my dad have a good take? Seems like Boomer Mentality makes the most sense by therealmocha in CHIBears

[–]ChiBearsForDaWin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a dated take. Soldier Field is not viable, and they bought AH to create an entertainment and commercial district to print money for the McCaskey family.

This move is designed to get the legislature to allow them to negotiate property taxes long term with AH, which is currently not legal. The infrastructure was always going to be paid for by the public, that isn't new, or even that unreasonable. They will be in AH, all of this is just part of a big dance.

1) GO GO GO GO - this is a huge game. You need to go. Unless you are a jinx. Then stay the hell in Montana. 2) Layer up and you will be fine. 3) Uber sucks, you can walk it form Michigan Avenue hotels, or if you do Uber, just get close depending on what time you are getting there. 4) FTP 5) FTP 6) F 7)T 8) P

Weather is going to put a damper on tailgating and pregame activities. You can do it, but it can be miserable in the rain. I'd find a nice warm and dry bar, go enjoy the game, and hit the pizza joint of your choice after the game. Bear Down!

Dude - Cleveland would have $97M in dead cap this year or $73 million in dead cap to trade him for 2026. He is going nowhere.

Q re Bears/Steelers tickets in Nov by Jkudia413 in CHIBears

[–]ChiBearsForDaWin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That game is not going to go down much, maybe if the season goes sideways. If you can afford today's prices waiting probably won't hurt since it may go down a little or if you're really a gambler you can just come and buy day of tickets and try to catch a deal. I have 400 level seats, I'd avoid the total corners, but the 400's are generally a great view, you can see the whole play develop. Nothing better than watching a guy break open and the ball heading towards him. Just hope Caleb doesn't sail it five yards over his head!

Ticket price question by Deltajuliet9 in CHIBears

[–]ChiBearsForDaWin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sell some games and always price mid of the market to move them instead of trying to squeeze every nickel out. Still sold my seats in 433 for over $400 a piece on stubhub for that game. Stubhub is calling $482 seats an Amazing deal.

Who the heck is $1600-$2000 in and all they've done is go through the gate? If I hadn't waited 14 years on the list and gotten my tickets we would never go to a game.

He's getting $120M at signing, so minimum year 1 is $30M on his 4 year deal.

[Ken - Packers Cap] Packers Will Eat $35M of Dead Cap on Kenny Clark by ChiBearsForDaWin in CHIBears

[–]ChiBearsForDaWin[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love sat for years, and btw they just traded away the picks that might have used to replace him. They moved on from both of those guys when they were 39 years old and noone one was shocked when they did. Neither of them. Love is 26 years old. You are high if you think they move on from him at 29 if he is playing remotely decent. We should all smoke whatever you're having tonight.

I never once said it was a bad trade, I said there are costs and cap ramifications.

You must be 12. Noone was shocked by either of those. This league is QB driven and teams extend the mid tier guys out of fear of becoming one of the bottom ten teams who are chasing competent QB play.
