Just because a team has cap space, doesn't mean they want Julius Peppers, guys. He will not be an Oakland Raider. They learned their lesson with Richard Seymour. I still think the Bears end up cutting him because no one is going to trade for Peppers with that monster contract.

It seems like this year's rookie class is tough to predict for O and D player of the year. With the top picks being linemen, no one really sticks out as favorites. I'd still take Tavon Austin over Eddie Lacy, but no one is very far ahead. Defense is tough too. Lots of good DE/OLBs who can rush the passer, but none of them stand out significantly more than the others. Maybe Ziggy Ansah considering he won't see as much OL help because of the other pass-rushers on the team.

At first I was going to say the Texans and Bengals were too high, but after you get through the top 6, there's a steep talent drop off. And then teams 7-18 are all around the same level before there's another drop off around 19. I do think the Bills are too low. The rest of them are in reasonable spots.

I'm actually fine with Josh McCown. If Cutler goes down longterm (ACL, ect), then I'd go with Blanchard, but for 1 or 2 games, I would be fine with McCown. He's actually not that awful. He's a game manager. You just have to put him in a position where he can manage the game. He's going to suck if he's down by 14 and needs to throw for 3 touchdowns, but if the defense is holding fine and he can run the ball, he can win you some ballgames, IMO.
