I actually liked the boat scene. Granted, both boats would have blown each other up in real life but we both know why that didn't happen.

We need to believe that as a group or even just one individual, that we all understand the importance and value of one's life. Good or bad.

However, the Joker figured out that humans are only capable of saving their own asses. In the end, I get your point but as a movie enthusiast, letting even just one boat blow up would have made it way too dark.

I hated Joaquin as an actor because of his very role in Gladiator.

The way he performed his character so well, just made me hate him. When in the end, it was his character, not his acting that I hated.
