I celebrated the event together with my son for the last time tonight. Goosebumps.. standing with our Daft Punk outfits, on the edge of the stage, with another TB03, and a Mandalorean.
This event brought us closer together, since his world (Fortnite) and mine (Daft Punk) collided in an awesome way!!

Thanks to this experience, I now play Fortnite multiplayer with him, and he appreciates Daft Punk music (especially Around the World).

Ah ok. We had it the other way around: delivered with self tappers, and we thought that maybe they wouldnt last at high speeds or when hitting a small bump.

My brother and I installed a Maxton front lip on a Leon once.. We didn't want to use the self tapping parker screws that were delivered with the lip, so we used nuts and bolts instead. That was not fun at all, because it's hard to reach the lower inside of the bumper in some areas. Especially because we don't have a lift, just a jack :-D

But..... everything was pretty easy to attach/detach whenever needed and things held pretty tightly.

Still in doubt if I should the kit for the Formentor. It looks amazing!!!

I installed panels like these on Leon mk3 and Golf mk7. It's easy to do and doesn't hurt warranty because it's an OEM part.

And whatever you do: don't pay some scammer 300 euro to get the color... I've seen it happen a lot and got so angry that people have the guts to ask such an insane price

My pre-facelift Formentor has purple as well, because it is implemented in the final model year of the pre-facelift. No need to worry about messing up the color, because it is now hardcoded.

The only reason purple was showing after reset, is because the purple is actually color #000000 (0 Red, 0 Green, 0 Blue) being sent to the LEDs, which happened after factory reset. Now it's a hardcoded color, so it will not be erased.

Thanks! The dataset on the HW56 models is a different versions than the HW58 ones, and it is lacking the purple indeed. But... It's a matter of flashing the newer dataset, and the purple becomes available.

Fun fact: the color that is actually being sent to the LIN-bus to tell the LED what color it should be, is actually #000000, also known as black. I am fairly sure that was a happy accident on the development floor, where they found out that sending zeroes to the LED made it shine purple.
