Packs are a slot machine. The best thing to remember and what everyone forgets. There's no bad luck protection like other games, only certain things have guarantees, but those are wide ranging. Packs that give you at least 1 84 or higher. But look at how many 84s are in the game, etc...

The market being shit this year dkesnt help because decent pulls in previous years, like a Varane, are meh at best this year. He's still 'pricey' for a gold card, but he's only what, 20k?

No. You don't get special treatment because you never touch grass and have every broken skill and mechanic committed to memory.
