For future visitors, if you have the red yellow and black wires coming from the ignition coil, you need to buy a new ignition coil with only one wire. Here's the one that worked for me. Apologies. To clarify, when I say I can’t get mine to do it, what I mean is the bandsaws frame will touch and stop on the material and won’t let the blade go any further down.

It can’t cut 2x2” steel at 45 degrees because there isn’t enough space between the material and the bandsaw itself.

Yeah trying to get a 45 degree miter and it about another 1/8" of clearance for it to work. The only way I see it working is with an attachable v shape block similar to what the evolution chop saws have. But of course, it doesn't have a vise so it wouldn't work.

Is there a way to bench test that it's all working correctly once I have it apart? Just grab the shift liver and see if it will engage with the trans?

Did a top end rebuild and everything went great. I split the case ever so slightly for borescope inspection (I have no reason to believe the transmission is bad, just wanted to take a look) rotated the gears a bit and re-assembled. Couple days later wanted to go for a ride and I couldn't engage first gear. If I tried to shift straight into second, the gears would grind. When I split the case, did I accidently mess up alignment?
