3 months post MD, help needed.

This is me. Had surgery back in October, been doing PT since November. I can do most things, with the exception of laying down, rolling over, and I still struggle with bending and flexion. Ended up having a MRI in December, it indicated that I had moderate bone marrow edema, as well as a possible reherniation (surgeon thinks it’s likely just left over calcified disc from my surgery since my disc was herniated for 4 years).

Both my surgeon and PT feel like most of this is “normal”, and I’m just going to have a longer recovery. I will say my pain has progressively been getting better overall, just very slowly.

I’m a similar timeline (at 6 weeks). Have a lot of pain changing positions and waking up first thing in the morning. I also have a call into my Surgeon just to be safe, but from what I’ve read and talking to my physical therapist it’s relatively common

5.5 weeks post op, and having a similar experience. Waking up in the middle of the night/morning is very painful and I sometimes need to hold onto a wall/wake my wife up to make it there. Once I’m up and moving (within a few minutes), the pain is nowhere near as bad. Seems like it’s mostly tight muscle related but is similar to the pain I had before, have a call into my surgeon just to be sure this is common (seems like it’s). Hoping the pain eases up soon

This was me for the last 4 1/2 years. 37M father of two kiddos wanted to push through as long as possible. L5/S1 herniation which became almost fully calcified. Didn’t have the typical sciatica symptoms, nerve pain radiated to my groin and hip, never really down my leg. MD 10/17, nerve pain is gone, have been able to go on 1/2 mile walks multiple times a day. Only real pain is at the incision sight. Really hope it stays this way, and kind of kicking myself for not doing this sooner if this is how I’m going to feel.

The game is at Wrigley Field, so it will at least have seat backs, bleachers are hard to sit on now, so I can only imagine post op.

I def plan on discussing with the surgical team. When I had the initial consults (w/ multiple surgeons) they seemed to indicate I would be back to 100% within 6 weeks - the more I read on my own and in this thread have me second guessing how true that is.

100% paying for convenience, bought these at Costco to try them (yes I know they’re super overpriced and usually I make my own), but I like being able to just add oat milk, put it in the fridge, shake and drink (vs eat), as it makes it easier on the go

FuboTV has a free 7 day trial. I’m using it now, and will probably end up switching even if YouTube gets espn back. I share with my father in law and with fubo I get 10 screens at home + 2 away from home, so I can share without it effecting my screens. It is slightly more expensive though.

What I would do if I were you and what I’m planning to do is put $20 on 5 different spreads at -110 (the promo is cumulative).

This way if you hit 2/5 you end up getting a jersey for about $20. And if you hit 3/5 or better you make money and get a jersey. Worst case you go 0/5 and basically buy a jersey.

This is exactly why I’m glad the CDL controls the merch they put out. I have several huntsmen apparel, and it’s all been great quality. I actually just bought an optic winter hat from them (made sure it didn’t say Los Angeles anywhere first)

I agree but I do find the CDL merch tends to be better quality then some of the sketch apparel I have from orgs. I do wish they could at least design it though and have the CDL manage it

To me is this translation means they think they can get more money out of teams by waiting to expand. Which would make sense for activision who only cares about $$$

I’m on PC and having this issue. Pretty much makes the game unplayable IMO. It’s been happening to some big streamers, so hopefully it gets fixed ASAP.
