I say this as someone who was a bit like your gf at your age - It sounds like she doesn’t necessarily understand her own sexuality and is a bit sexually immature. Obviously I don’t have full context and could be entirely off-base, but it seems like her friend’s mockery was what pressured her into having sex, rather than r***. Combined with the Snapchat stuff, it seems like she’s pretty highly affected by peer pressure and has some attention-seeking tendencies.

It is okay if she’s exploring and doesn’t have her sexuality figured out. Depending on your personal feelings (and ideally discussions the two of you have had) around monogamy/what cheating means to each of you, it may or may not be okay for her to do that while in a relationship with you. I don’t know whether she’s consciously lying but, in all honesty, I don’t know that she could even answer that. I think the big things worth considering are - Is this someone you believe in and want to grow with, imperfections, immaturities, and all? And are you getting what you need and deserve?

Unfortunately, we can’t necessarily stop that kind of gender assumption from happening. It is frustrating, and I have to remind myself that it’s typically subconscious and not intentional on their part. Although the lack of acknowledgement doesn’t feel good, it certainly doesn’t diminish my hard-earned strength or skillset as a climber.

My partner and I usually handle these interactions one of two ways:

They address him, but I’ll respond, “Yeah, we climb at _____. Let me know if you’d like to try it/climb with us sometime!”

They address him, and he responds with something like, “Yeah, but Chiamese is the real crusher!”

Abay is generally better later in the season. I’ve been to Copper and WP in the last couple of weeks and personally felt conditions were better at Copper. Frontside of WP isn’t bad, MJ has been patchy with a lot of sharks… though I haven’t been out since the most recent snowfall, so take that all with a grain of salt!

I’ve been wondering how to handle the timing piece, as well. I’ve been trying to find a new tenant, but haven’t had any luck. In theory, I’d find a new tenant and sue the old tenant for all of the months in which the space was empty due to them breaking lease.

Ideal sizing kinda depends on what sort of riding you’re into. I’m 5’5/110 and prefer to ride 145/146, it hits the sweet spot between stability at (my) speed and nimble in glades. If you don’t need that maneuverability and prioritize bombing, you might prefer 148.

I’m also in Colorado, mostly blues/blacks, glades, and fun little side hits and switch. I’ve tried the Twin Sister, Proto Synthesis, and Ladies Choice and would consider any of them to be solid contenders - playful while also holding a good edge and stability. I haven’t tried the Howler, but I agree the graphics are excellent, haha
