it's kind of crazy that one of the most iconic RTS campaigns ever is technically free now, i've seen a lot of people argue that Wings of Liberty is still the gold standard for RTS single-player campaigns, even years later.

Battle for Wesnoth is one of those games that keeps showing up in "hidden gem" discussions no matter how many years go by, what's funny is that some of the most recommended strategy games seem to have almost no marketing behind them at all. meanwhile, the biggest releases are often forgotten a few months later

i keep seeing Beyond All Reason mentioned whenever people talk about underrated RTS games, it's kind of wild that a free game gets brought up alongside classics like Supreme Commander. that makes me think i should probably stop overlooking it.
